The Lead Fireplace Installer is responsible supervising and executing the installation of natural and engineered stone in both interior and exterior applications. The role ensures high-quality craftsmanship, compliance with safety and building codes, and coordination with other trades to meet project deadlines. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Lead the installation of stone materials on construction projects. Read and interpret architectural drawings, layout plans, and shop drawings. Prepare and level surfaces for stone installation; oversee cutting, shaping, and fitting of stone. Supervise and train installers. Ensure alignment, leveling, grouting, sealing, and finishing of installed stone meets aesthetic and technical standards. Coordinate with suppliers, designers, and other trades to ensure material availability and correct execution. Inspect completed work for accuracy, durability, and compliance. Enforce site safety practices and conduct safety briefings. Maintain daily reports, track material usage, and assist in project documentation.
