About the Team OpenAI’s API Multicloud team is responsible for extending OpenAI’s API platform into strategic cloud environments, starting with AWS . The team’s mission is to distribute OpenAI’s API broadly and safely by enabling key API technologies in cloud-native environments, in close partnership with Amazon and internal teams across Codex, Research, Safety Systems, and Applied. The team is focused on bringing core developer and enterprise capabilities into cloud-native environments, including cloud-hosted Codex, model customization / post-training as a service, and new stateful runtime environments for agentic workloads. This work sits at the intersection of production ML systems, developer platforms, model behavior, and large-scale infrastructure. About the Role We’re looking for a backend engineer who can quickly understand OpenAI’s models, products, and systems, then adapt first-party deployments for other cloud platforms. You’ll build backend services, APIs, SDK integrations, authentication flows, and cloud service infrastructure that let developers use OpenAI capabilities in the cloud environments where they already build. This role involves working across teams, sometimes embedded with partner product groups, to ship products quickly and across multiple platforms at the same time. It’s a strong fit for engineers who have built developer tools, especially AI-powered tools, communicate clearly across technical boundaries, and can shape architectures that support different deployment models; experience building cloud services is a strong plus. In this role, you will: Build backend and infrastructure systems that extend OpenAI’s API platform into cloud-native environments, like AWS. Design and ship cloud-contained products that allow customers to use OpenAI capabilities while keeping workloads and data within cloud environments. You should enjoy working with external technical partners, extracting the real goal from messy requests, and pushing back or reframing when the requested experiment is not the highest-leverage path. You’ll collaborate closely with Research, Applied, Safety Systems, infrastructure teams, and external technical partners to solve ambiguous model-performance problems. When you succeed, strategic partners and internal teams will be able to improve model behavior with confidence, driving measurable product improvements while the systems behind that work become more reliable, scalable, and effective over time. NVIDIA Inception is our free global programme for start-ups building with AI, data science and accelerated computing — now more than 40,000 companies worldwide, with over 2,000 of them based in India alone. South Asia is one of the fastest-moving corners of that network: a market whose density sits in applied and vertical AI — medical imaging, drug discovery, edge vision, agentic and sovereign AI, robotics, agri-tech, AI governance — rather than in frontier model labs. We are looking for an Inception Regional Lead to own that motion end to end. This is a builder’s role with a commercial edge. You will set the regional strategy, lead a team of Inception Partner and Community managers across India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and neighbouring markets, and be personally accountable for how much NVIDIA hardware, software and cloud the region’s start-ups design in and consume. You will spend real time on the ground in founders’ offices, because that is where stalled accounts turn into concrete asks. And you will act as the connective tissue between start-ups and the rest of NVIDIA — worldwide field operations, solution architects, developer marketing, the reseller and cloud partner ecosystem, and NVentures. What you’ll be doing: Own the South Asia Inception strategy and number. Set regional priorities, coverage model and account tiering across strategic, member, community and prospect accounts; forecast and report on pipeline, design wins and consumption to programme and field leadership. Lead and grow the team. Manage, coach and develop a team of Inception Partner and community programme managers. Set territory and vertical coverage, run the operating cadence, and raise the bar on technical fluency and commercial rigour across the team. Drive commercial outcomes with start-ups. Most security assurance work is reactive: a customer asks, a team scrambles, an answer goes out. This role exists to end that cycle. As a Senior Staff Analyst, you’ll own a named portfolio of our most significant customers from a security perspective, and get ahead of what they need — their regulatory environment, their audit calendar, their risk appetite, their control expectations — well enough to have the evidence ready before the request arrives. You’ll lead customer security audits hands-on, sit across from customer security teams as a peer rather than a form-filler, and build account security plans that make the next assessment predictable instead of painful. This is deliberately a hands-on senior individual contributor role. You’ll spend your time in audits, in customer conversations, and in the detail of controls and evidence — not in a management chain. If you’ve got deep SOC 2 and ISO 27001 knowledge, real technical range across cloud architecture, identity and vulnerability management, and the presence to hold a room with a sceptical CISO, this is a portfolio you can genuinely own. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff): Own a portfolio of strategic accounts as their dedicated security point of contact, building durable relationships with their security, risk, compliance and procurement teams. Lead customer security audits and assessments hands-on — scoping, preparing evidence, running the sessions, defending control design and driving findings to closure with internal owners. Build and maintain an account security plan for each account: their frameworks and regulators, audit and reassessment cycles, known concerns, open items and the roadmap commitments they care about. Anticipate requirements before they’re raised, tracking regulatory change, industry expectations and each account’s compliance calendar so documentation and evidence are staged in advance. Act
