Baseten
📍 San Francisco• Full-time
1mo ago

ABOUT BASETEN Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F , led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Baseten is seeking talented and experienced Software Engineers to join our Platform team within the Infrastructure organization. As a senior member of Baseten's Platform Team, you will own the systems that let every engineer at Baseten prove their code works before it reaches production. Our product runs mission-critical AI inference for customers who measure downtime in dollars per second, which means our internal bar for correctness, performance, and failure tolerance has to be exceptional. Your focus is the full testing stack: fast and reliable unit test tooling, integration harnesses that spin up realistic environments on demand, load and performance testing for GPU-backed inference workloads, and resilience testing that deliberately breaks things so our customers never have to find out what happens when a node dies mid-request. This is a builder role with org-wide leverage. You won't be writing tests for other teams — you'll be building the frameworks, harnesses, and feedback loops that make writing good tests the path of least resistance, and you'll set the standards for what "well-tested" means at Baseten. RESPONSIBILITIES Own Baseten's testing strategy end to end — define the standards, the tiers, and the tooling that engineering teams build against. Build and maintain unit, integration, load and performance testing frameworks Design end to end test infrastructure that provisions realistic dependencies

AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Lovable , Ramp , Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We recently raised a $355M Series C at a $4.65B valuation, led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures. We've crossed $300M+ ARR and grown fivefold since September. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn , Luig i ), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience. Amplitude
📍 Remote• Full-time

Amplitude is moving fast, from product analytics to an AI-native platform with agents embedded across the product, used by over 4,700 companies. We are looking for a strong design leader with a builder mindset to lead a 15-person design team through the next phase of growth. This is a player-coach role . You manage and grow the team. You also stay in the actual work: elevating quality through feedback, pairing with designers on the hardest UX puzzles, and asking the right questions to unlock the crux of the problem. You'll know every product surface well enough to raise its quality — even if you don't own any single one end-to-end. Designers are embedded in autonomous pods and need to keep shipping fast. Maintaining speed without compromising on coherence and quality is the job. If that tension sounds like an exciting problem to solve rather than a contradiction to complain about, keep reading. What you'll do Build the team. Hire, grow, and retain a high-performing design team, identifying people who will thrive and raise the bar at Amplitude. Develop them through direct, specific feedback. Help someone who's stuck get moving again. Set direction. Drive the design strategy for Amplitude's product suite: Core Amplitude, Statsig, and Wave (a proactive agent that helps teams build self-improving products). Help define how agents and humans work together in the same workflows. Champion craft. Strong visual design builds trust, clarity, and delight in the era of AI. Lead by example, elevating the quality of the product through exceptional design execution. Hold a high bar. AI makes it cheap to ship UI changes, which makes it easy for quality to erode quietly. Set a clear standard for what good looks like and enforce it without becoming an approval bottleneck. Stay in production. You believe that “the design” is what ships. Code is the material that brings the design to life. Push on the details, the papercuts, the edge cases. Speak for the customer. Show up in leadership

About Supabase Supabase is the open-source backend platform trusted by millions of developers to build web apps, SaaS products, and AI-native applications. Our Partnerships team works across the ecosystem - technology partners, cloud platforms, VCs, accelerators, and startup programs - to make Supabase the default backend for the next generation of companies. About the Role We're looking for a Startup Partner Enablement & Programs Manager to bring our partner ecosystem to life through enablement, events, and programs to raise awareness of Supabase's value proposition to early stage startups. You'll own the materials, playbooks, and activations that help our partners - VCs, accelerators, incubators and entrepreneurship programs - successfully promote and build with Supabase. That includes organizing Supabase's presence at partner and VC-related events, running office hours, hackathons and VIP dinners, and turning relationships into repeatable, high-impact programs. This role sits on the Partnerships team and reports to the Head of Startups, working closely with teammates across the startup program, GTM, developer relations, and marketing. Because the bulk of our events and partner activity is concentrated in San Francisco and the Bay Area, we strongly prefer candidates based there who can regularly attend and host events in person. It's a great fit for someone who loves the operational craft of enablement and programs and wants to work at the intersection of startups, venture, and developer tools. Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers to help them ship countless products that people love. More than 7 million developers trust us with their data, and we are custodians of every byte of it. Security is foundational to that trust, and as we move deeper into AI-native development, regulated industries, and enterprise, it shapes whether a developer chooses us on day one and whether a regulated company can build their most sensitive workloads on Supabase. About the role We're looking for a PM who can balance the constant tension between security and developer experience at platform scale. Every control you add is friction a developer has to absorb, and every default you loosen is a door an attacker could walk through. Finding the right balance between protecting customers and keeping them fast is the work of this role. You'll partner with Security Engineering, Compliance, and the platform teams that own auth, networking, and audit. This is a remote position and we're open to considering candidates located across EMEA and AMER time zones. In This Role You Will Set the security agenda for the platform. Lead Supabase's platform security roadmap end-to-end, from the defaults that protect a developer prototyping their first project to the advanced controls a Fortune 500 CISO needs before approving us. Hold the line between security and developer experience. Every security feature trades protection against friction. A control that's too strict pushes developers off the platform; one that's too easy to bypass doesn't protect anyone. Lead our security strategy for AI agents. Agents now read, write, and deploy on behalf of developers and companies, often at machine speed. You'll lead how Supabase authenticates, scopes, and audits agent activity so customers can give them real capability while staying in control of their data. Own our security product surface.
