F-18 Landing Gear Technical Support Specialist Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an F/A-18 Landing Gear Technical Support Specialist in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This individual will compile, analyze and format data to produce engineering lifecycle products, services and processes. The specialist will verify regulatory conformance and contractual compliance, enforce configuration control, and maintain design and maintenance documentation to company, contractual and Navy standards. Position Responsibilities: Compile, analyze and format technical and maintenance data to produce and maintain engineering lifecycle products, spreadsheets, web pages (e.g., SENTINAL), and other documentation Verify regulatory conformance and contractual compliance of products using standard guidelines; identify and document nonconformances and follow through to resolution Maintain configuration control and design documentation per company, contractual and Navy standards (CNAFINST 4790.2 Series / NAMP) Read, interpret and apply Navy Technical Directives (TD), Supplemental Technical Certificates (STC), Airworthiness Directives (AD), and engineering guidance to ensure compliant repairs and configuration actions Create, update and maintain Assembly Service Records (ASR), Equipment History Records (EHR), and Scheduled Component Repair (SRC) cards IAW CNAFINST 4790.2 Series Administer and update the OOMA NALCOMIS Configuration Management Database to manage logsets, track life limits and record component histories Use and maintain Navy databases (e.g., NATEC, Deckplate) to support configuration and maintenance actions Process and track aircraft components for overhaul per OEM instructions

Oversee the daily operations of all critical electrical and mechanical systems including HVAC DG (Diesel Generator) sets UPS systems LT/HT panels and plumbing. Schedule and supervise Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) to minimize system breakdowns. Trouble-shoot and resolve technical issues quickly to ensure business continuity. 2. Vendor & Technician Management Manage and monitor on-site technicians and multi-technical vendors. Ensure third-party vendors adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and complete maintenance tasks on time. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized equipment servicing. 3. Safety & Compliance Ensure all technical operations comply with local safety regulations and building codes. Monitor fire fighting and alarm systems regularly to ensure 100% readiness. Maintain strict adherence to Environment Health & Safety (EHS) standards on the floor. 4. Energy & Asset Management Track and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce utility costs. Maintain an updated asset register of all technical equipment tracking lifetimes and warranties. Monitor daily consumption logs (electricity water diesel) and analyze anomalies. 5. Documentation & Reporting Maintain comprehensive logs of breakdowns PPM checklists and equipment history. Prepare daily weekly and monthly technical reports for management review. Manage inventory levels for critical technical spares and consumables. Requirements & Qualifications Education Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Electrical Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
