About the Team The Consumer Devices team at OpenAI builds end-to-end hardware and software systems that bring AI into the physical world. We work at the intersection of custom silicon, embedded systems, operating systems, cloud services, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and product design to deliver reliable, production-ready devices at scale. Within Consumer Devices, Hardware Engineering eXperience, or HEX, is a new bootstrapped team building the environments, applications, compute, product-data systems, and workflows that let hardware engineers do their work without needing to troubleshoot the machinery underneath. HEX owns virtual engineering environments, HPC/GPU compute, storage, networking, licensing, MCAD/ECAD/CAE applications, PLM, product data, automation, validation, and support as one connected system. About the Role As a Staff PLM & Engineering Applications Engineer, you will be one of the first technical builders of HEX and the primary counterpart to the HEX lead. You will own the engineering-application and product-data side of the hardware engineering experience, with an initial focus on NX, Teamcenter, licensing, parts import, integrations, packaging, validation, and user workflows. This is not a traditional Teamcenter administration role and not a Corporate IT application-support role. You will take complex, fragile workflows and turn them into reliable engineering systems. This role is highly hands-on and systems-oriented. You will not inherit a mature environment and support queue. You will help build a fresh one, replacing manual setup guides, tribal knowledge, repeated support issues, and team handoffs with tested automation and reliable workflows. In This Role, You Will Own the technical architecture, deployment, configuration, integration, validation, and long-term operation of NX and Teamcenter. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products. THE ROLE This role owns Baseten's relationships and market intelligence across hyperscalers and strategic neoclouds, including NVIDIA cloud partners. This is a technical and commercial role in equal measure: you'll evaluate capacity from the GPU to the data center, negotiate cost and terms with suppliers, and stay close enough to the market to develop and defend a real point of view on where it's heading. Given current market conditions, Baseten needs a much stronger pulse on this part of the market so we can track pricing, stay close to the right relationships, and move fast the moment more capacity is needed. This is a senior, experienced hire who will also help pair with and develop 1-2 junior to mid-level teammates covering the same space. WHAT YOU'LL DO Build and maintain deep relationships across hyperscalers and strategic neoclouds (including NVIDIA cloud partners), working each organization from top to bottom rather than a single point of contact Maintain a consistent, "top of mind" presence with key accounts so Baseten is positioned to move quickly when capacity needs arise Evaluate capacity from the GPU to the data center — hardware generation, rack and node configuration, interconnect, power density, and cooling — so you know what a configuration will actually deliver, not just what the spec sheet claims Live in compute pricing daily: track rates by GPU generation, region, and contract term to keep Baseten inf

As it grows and matures, the needs of the GTM stack get more sophisticated with scale — and this team exists to stay ahead of those needs. This role owns a core set of the platforms the field runs on. You'll administer, configure, and continuously improve them, build AI and automation on top of the CRM to keep it clean and current, and run the adoption programs that make sure the field actually uses what we put in front of them. We're an AI-native company scaling fast, and we want to add sophistication without adding drag — you'll be the person deciding how much system is enough. This isn't a classic Salesforce admin role. You know the ecosystem, but you come at it as a builder and an orchestrator, not a ticket-taker. What You'll Walk Into Central RevOps is the systems and operations center of excellence for Baseten's GTM org. The stack includes Salesforce, Pylon, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Clay, and a growing set of AI-native GTM tools. The field is scaling fast, and the systems need to mature with it without slowing anyone down. You'll co-own Salesforce with our other GTM Systems Manager and work alongside a GTM Engineering team who builds internal AI products for GTM productivity — plus partner closely with sales leadership and the field. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside exceptional people on ambitious, zero-to-one challenges at the intersection of hardware, software, and AI. This is a chance to help define an entirely new category of products—and shape how people experience AI in the future. The Systems Integration team is critical in this mission, turning complex hardware-software development into reliable product signals. Lab Operations is the physical backbone of that work: we build and maintain the device fleets, test environments, and hardware-in-the-loop labs that let teams test repeatably, understand failures, and ship with confidence. About the Role As a Lab Operations Manager, Systems Integration , you will own the day-to-day operation of a large-scale consumer device test lab. This is a hands-on operations leadership role: you’ll keep device fleets, test rigs, lab infrastructure, inventory, provisioning, maintenance, and logistics running smoothly so engineers and QA technicians have reliable environments for validation and release testing. We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, technically hands-on, comfortable with consumer electronics and lab equipment, and experienced operating complex physical test environments at scale. Because this is a new category of devices, you’ll have the opportunity to build the lab operating model early—shaping the systems, standards, and workflows that support products from prototype through launch. About the Team The Startup Growth team is building the systems, programs, and automation that enable OpenAI to win startups at scale. We need to make it dramatically faster and easier to turn high-potential growth ideas into repeatable, measurable GTM motions without bespoke infrastructure for every program. About the Role The GTM Growth Programs Lead will own the shared capabilities that enable Startup GTM to incubate, launch, measure, and scale growth programs. The role will initially own credit and commercial programs while using that work to build reusable infrastructure for a broader portfolio of GTM motions. The goal is not to centralize program ownership: teams closest to startups should continue to identify, incubate, and own growth motions. This role will build the operating system that makes them dramatically better and faster at doing so. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Build the GTM program platform for Startups. Develop shared infrastructure, tooling, and agentic systems that turn growth opportunities into scalable programs, automate work across the program lifecycle, and make each subsequent motion faster to launch. Own credit and commercial programs. Drive credit/commercial strategy and evolution while turning capabilities such as audience selection, eligibility, offer configuration, distribution, and measurement into reusable building blocks. Create a repeatable path from idea to scaled motion. Turn “we need to increase X” into targeted, operationalized, measurable GTM motions. Build leverage throughout the team. Enable ADs, VC Partnerships, and other Startup GTM teams to incubate and own programs independently rather than routing every motion through centralized operations. Develop shared measurement and experimentation frameworks and capabilities. Establish common approaches to sizing, economics, attribution

Our company today has a strong engineering culture, is heavily customer-obsessed, and moves fast. We're building the product function now, and you'd be one of the first people who will help define it. You'll work directly with our founders and with some of the best systems and infrastructure engineers in the world, and you'll set the standard for building great AI Infrastructure. PMs at Baseten don't sit above engineers - you earn ownership by being technical, finding the truth in front of customers, building great cross-functional relationships, and shipping great product experiences. The role Getting a model into production still takes real expertise — choosing a serving engine, sizing hardware, tuning it, wiring it into an app. We want a developer to go from "it runs on my laptop" to "it's serving production traffic" in minutes, on their own. You'll own the entire experience a developer touches to deploy and iterate: the CLI and SDKs, the console, onboarding, model discovery, deployment configuration, truss, and the increasingly agent-driven ways developers build. Your job is to make Baseten synonymous with Great DevEx and make it effortless to drive and self-serve deploy models on Baseten for far more developers than it is today.
