About the Team OpenAI’s Agentic Data Science team helps shape how AI agents are built, deployed, and improved across our products. We partner with product, engineering, research, and security teams to define meaningful measures of success, understand how our systems behave in the real world, and translate evidence into better decisions. As AI agents become more capable, they can write and execute code, access sensitive systems, and complete increasingly complex tasks with greater autonomy. These capabilities create powerful opportunities to improve cybersecurity, but they also introduce risks that traditional security tools and processes were not designed to address. Meeting this moment requires new ways to measure security, evaluate defenses, and distinguish genuine risk reduction from friction that slows users down. About the Role We are looking for a senior data scientist to help define what effective cybersecurity looks like in the age of AI agents. You will work across OpenAI’s Security organization and cybersecurity product teams to measure emerging risks, improve internal security controls, and shape AI-powered security products. The problems are foundational: How do we know whether an agent’s security controls are effective? Which safeguards meaningfully reduce risk, and which create unnecessary friction? When an AI system identifies a potential vulnerability, how do we determine whether the finding is accurate, actionable, and ultimately resolved? How do we detect anomalous behavior or risky access when the systems themselves are changing rapidly? You will report into Data Science while partnering closely with Security, Cyber Product, Engineering, and Research. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can establish a new analytical discipline, operate across organizational boundaries, and turn ambiguous security challenges into measurable improvements. In This Role You Will Define how we measure AI-agent security. Establish metrics and evaluation frame

About the Team The People Technology team builds and operates the systems that support how OpenAI hires, develops, and supports its people. The team brings together People Systems and People Innovation Labs, a product engineering group focused on rethinking how we find and retain exceptional talent and help employees do their best work. People Systems owns the company’s core people-technology ecosystem, including platforms such as Workday and Ashby. People Innovation Labs builds new employee and People Team experiences on top of that foundation, including OpenHouse, our internal employee hub, and AI-powered products and automations. Together, we are working toward a model in which our enterprise systems provide reliable data, controls, and core business logic, while employees and managers can complete more of their work through simple, integrated, and AI-native experiences. About the Role We are looking for a People Systems Lead to manage the People Systems team and shape how our core systems evolve. You will be responsible for the reliability and effectiveness of our current environment while helping us move beyond the constraints of traditional enterprise software. This includes stabilizing and improving platforms such as Workday and Ashby, designing the integrations that connect them to the broader technology ecosystem, and partnering with People Innovation Labs to surface workflows through OpenHouse, Slack, and AI-powered experiences. This role requires someone who is comfortable moving between strategy, technical design, and team leadership. You should understand People systems deeply, be able to work through integration and architecture decisions with engineers, and translate complex organizational needs into scalable solutions. You will also manage vendor relationships, develop the People Systems team, and drive alignment across People, Engineering, Finance, Security, Legal, and other partners. This role could be a fit for someone who has grown up in People S

About the team Platform Partnerships builds and grows the relationships that extend OpenAI products through the world’s most important technology platforms. The team works across Product, Engineering, Research, Go-to-Market, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Policy, and Operations to turn partner opportunities into durable product experiences and business outcomes. We are a small team working on opportunities that rarely arrive with a playbook. We set the strategy, make the tradeoffs, and stay close to execution through launch and scale. About the role We’re hiring a Strategic Partner Manager to own and drive the expansion of a portfolio of OpenAI’s most strategic platform partnerships. You will treat each partnership as a business: set the expansion thesis, align joint product roadmaps, structure commercial opportunities, and translate shared ambition into measurable adoption, usage, revenue, distribution, and product impact. This is a senior individual-contributor role with full-lifecycle ownership—from strategy and negotiation through integration, launch, performance, expansion, and renewal. It is a 0-to-1 builder role, not a coordination role. You will create clarity where the operating model is still emerging, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and step into the details required to move the work forward. The right person can move fluidly between a multi-year partnership strategy and the immediate product, commercial, or operating blocker in front of the team. You will build trusted relationships at the executive and working levels while representing OpenAI’s priorities with clarity and thoughtful pushback. What success looks like Each priority partner has a clear expansion thesis, joint roadmap, governance model, and measurable outcomes. High-priority product integrations and go-to-market initiatives launch with clear ownership, strong readiness, and fewer unresolved dependencies. Partnerships show measurable growth across the outcomes that matter for t

About the Team The DeployCo Deal Desk helps turn customer deployment opportunities into clear, executable professional-services engagements. We partner across Deployment, Sales, Legal, Finance, Technical Revenue, and Operations to ensure every deal has a well-defined scope, pricing aligned to approved guardrails, complete approvals, and a clean handoff to delivery. The team sits at the intersection of commercial execution and delivery readiness. We make complex services deals easier to buy—and easier to deliver—while strengthening the templates and workflows that help DeployCo scale. About the Role We are hiring a hands-on Professional Services Commercial Lead to own the end-to-end deal desk workflow for assigned DeployCo professional-services engagements. You will personally draft and revise statements of work (SOWs), validate pricing and deal inputs, coordinate cross-functional reviews and approvals, and ensure commitments are clear, deliverable, and ready to execute. The differentiator in this role is drafting expertise: you have written SOWs, not simply routed them. You can turn technical and delivery inputs into precise scope, deliverables, milestones, assumptions, dependencies, acceptance criteria, fees, and change controls—then keep the deal moving. This is an individual-contributor role for an experienced contract manager, deal desk professional, or professional-services commercial operator who combines strong writing and commercial judgment with disciplined execution. In this role, you will: Own assigned DeployCo deals from intake through approval, signature, and operational handoff. Draft and revise SOWs, work orders, and change orders using approved templates and playbooks; partner with Legal on non-standard contractual terms and redlines. Validate rate cards, fees, hours and resourcing inputs, discounts, margin inputs, billing milestones, and key deal data against approved inputs and guardrails; reconcile the SOW to the quote and route exceptions with a

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who can combine strategic judgment, financial rigor, founder relationship-building, and crisp execution. The ideal candidate can lead complex transactions, partner well with executive stakeholders, and help build the AI-native systems, tools, and operating practices that allow Corp Dev to scale. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end execution of corporate development transactions (e.g., acquisitions and strategic investments), including sourcing, diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, and closing. Track and interpret key trends across AI, technology, and adjacent industries, translating the competitive and startup landscape into clear, high-impact insights for OpenAI’s leadership. Proactively source acquisition and other opportunities by building deep relationships across the venture, startup, and incubator ecosystem. Partner closely wi
