About the Team OpenAI’s User Operations team shepherds our customers’ adoption of AI and ensures that our customers' product experience is nothing short of exceptional. We are building the very first post-AGI support team. We resolve complex issues, provide technical guidance, and support customers in maximizing value and adoption from deploying our products. We work closely with Sales, Technical Success, Product, Engineering and others, to deliver the best possible experience to our customers at scale. OpenAI's customers represent a range of diverse backgrounds and maturity, from early-stage startups to established global enterprises. About the Role We are looking for a hands-on lead to build and run OpenAI's Incidents & Escalations function within User Operations. This is a player-coach role with a meaningful hands-on operating component. You will set the operating model and also step into active incidents and urgent escalations when needed, coordinating with on-call teams, driving clear ownership, supporting communications, and ensuring issues move through resolution and post-incident closure. During active incidents, you will coordinate with the relevant on-call teams and cross-functional responders across Engineering, Infrastructure, Support Delivery, Product, and Go-To-Market. You will help keep teams aligned, maintain timelines, clarify ownership, escalate when needed, and ensure internal, executive, customer-facing, and external communications are accurate and timely, including status page updates when required. For escalations, you will build and run the processes for tracking, triaging, mitigating, and resolving critical customer and user issues. After incidents and escalations, you will own the follow-through: retrospectives, root cause identification, action item tracking, trend analysis, and process improvements that reduce repeat issues over time. About the Team At OpenAI, our User Safety & Risk Operations (USRO) team helps protect our products and users from abuse, fraud, safety risks, and other forms of misuse. We operate at the front line of real-world safety and risk management, translating user and operational signals into timely decisions, effective interventions, and improvements to our systems. This role sits on a new team within USRO focused on building operational capacity for new, ambiguous, or fast-moving areas of work. The team helps define what needs to be built, creates the operating model to support it, and works with partner teams to make the work scalable and durable over time. As a Strategic Operations Lead, you will focus on large, cross-functional initiatives that require clear thinking, technical fluency, strong execution, and the ability to bring structure to undefined problems. About the Role We are seeking a Strategic Operations Lead to drive new and existing strategic operating builds across User Safety & Risk Operations. This is a senior IC role for someone who can turn broad, undefined priorities into clear operating models, launch plans, requirements, stakeholder alignment, documentation, reporting, and execution rhythms. This role will often support initiatives where OpenAI is developing new products or partnerships and the operating model is still being defined. These programs have a direct user safety and risk nexus because new deployment models can change what signals OpenAI can see, who owns response decisions, and how user-impacting risks are detected, escalated, and resolved. You will clarify what OpenAI owns, what partner teams own, what signals we can reliably monitor, how issues should be escalated, and how the workflow should evolve from launch support into a durable operating model. The right person is highly strategic and deeply practical. They can move from executive-level framing to detailed workflow design, stakeholder management, SOPs, launch readiness, ri

About the Team OpenAI’s Infrastructure organization builds the systems that power frontier AI workloads at global scale. As compute demand accelerates, our ability to rapidly convert infrastructure investments into usable production capacity has become mission critical. The CPU / Storage / PoP / WAN team is responsible for the end-to-end infrastructure layers required to bring compute online: server and cluster activation, storage platforms, Points of Presence (PoPs), backbone connectivity, and global network expansion. We operate across first-party facilities, colocation environments, and strategic cloud partners to ensure OpenAI can scale reliably and quickly. About the Role We are seeking a highly technical Program Manager to lead execution across CPU, Storage, PoP, and WAN infrastructure programs that directly unlock OpenAI’s next generation compute capacity. About the Team The Demo Studio is responsible for translating OpenAI’s most advanced capabilities into tangible, high-impact experiences for customers. We design and deliver the demos, applications, and environments that define how executives understand what is possible with AI. Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. The AI Studio is the team responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing internal software platforms across every functional department of the company, including People Operations, Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Recruiting, and Executive Operations. We treat each internal department as its own product surface, and in truth as its own startup, with its own customers, its own metrics, and its own reasons for existing. We ship custom software, built on Replit’s own platform, to solve operational problems that off-the-shelf SaaS tools cannot serve well at our scale and pace of growth. Position Summary The Member of Technical Staff (AI Builder) is a full-time builder role with substantial autonomy. You will design, architect, and ship AI-powered internal platforms that run the operations of the company across many departments at once. This is not a role for someone who wants a narrow, well-defined lane. It is a role for someone who wants to walk into an ambiguous business problem, understand it well enough to argue about it with the department lead, and then ship the software that fixes it. We are looking for people who genuinely understand the mechanics of a business: how revenue is actually made, why recruiting velocity matters, what makes support scale or break, how finance closes a month, and why each department is critical to whether the company wins or loses. You do not need to have run every function, but you need to respect why each one exists and be able to reason about it like an operator, not just an engineer. Because we treat each department as its own startup, we strongly favor people who have either run their own business or worked on a fast-scaling startup. You know what it feels like
