Platform administration isn't the part of the product anyone screenshots for a demo. Nobody's writing a blog post about your identity provisioning flow. But it's the thing every other team at Diligent quietly depends on more than any other dev team in the company and when it breaks, everyone notices immediately. If that kind of quiet, high-stakes ownership sounds appealing rather than thankless, keep reading. This role is for someone who wants real skin in the game: you build it, you ship it, you support it. We're a high-initiative team that improves things we see first and asks permission later, building secure, event-driven microservices in TypeScript on AWS, and treating infrastructure as code the same way we treat application code: with rigor, not as an afterthought. Here's a breakdown of what you'll do (not all of it, just the important stuff) Design and build secure, scalable full-stack services using AWS serverless tech (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway) — with real attention to event-driven patterns and observability, not just "does it work on my machine." Own your services in production. That means building good observability, keeping an eye on alerts, and responding to them before they become bigger problems. Build infrastructure as code with AWS CDK and push for CI/CD that ships safely and often — not "big bang" releases you have to pray over. Design RESTful APIs other teams will actually want to consume: clear contracts, sane versioning, no surprises. Write tests — unit, integration, end-to-end — as part of how you build, not a chore you do after. Show up to architecture discussions with opinions and documentation, not just vibes. Use AI tools to move faster on coding, debugging, testing, and research — but you're still the one who validates the output. These are the essentials you'll need to get an interview 2-3 years of professional software engineering experience in an agile, full-stack-focused environment. Solid full-stack fundamentals: request lifecycles, d

Position Overview As a Solutions Engineer at Diligent, you will partner closely with Sales to help organizations understand how our platform can transform the way they identify and mitigate risk, perform audits, strengthen controls, and operationalize broader GRC programs. You’ll independently lead the SE workstream on small to mid-sized opportunities, while partnering with more senior Solutions Engineers on complex, multi-pillar deals, acting as a trusted partner to customer stakeholders and helping translate Risk & Audit and broader GRC challenges into clear, compelling solutions that drive business value. If you enjoy combining domain expertise, storytelling, solution design, and customer interaction and are looking to build your career in a commercial, customer-facing environment, this is a strong next step. Key Responsibilities Customer & Commercial Partnership Partner with Sales to lead the full pre-sales lifecycle for small to mid-sized opportunities, helping customers understand how Diligent solves real-world risk, audit, and control management challenges. Deliver independent, well-prepared, tailored software demonstrations that clearly articulate business value, while seeking coaching and feedback from senior team members for continuous improvement. Engage confidently with stakeholders across Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, IT, Controls, and Governance teams, owning day-to-day customer conversations and escalating to senior SEs for high-risk or complex topics as needed. Translate customer pain points into clear solution narratives, including outcomes and success criteria, to support deal progression and closure. Own the technical win for small to mid-sized opportunities, and contribute to the technical strategy on larger, multi-stakeholder deals in partnership with senior SEs. About the role As a Customer Success Manager I at 3rdRisk, you're the person who turns a new customer into a confident, successful one. You own onboarding from kickoff to go-live — guiding organizations through implementation and configuration until they're getting real value from the platform — and you stay with them afterwards as their trusted point of contact, running the relationship through regular check-ins and Quarterly Business Reviews. Based out of Diligent's Vancouver office, you'll serve 3rdRisk customers across North America as part of a Customer Success team that's still taking shape: four CSMs split across Vancouver and Amsterdam, working closely as one team across both hubs. That early stage is the opportunity. Alongside the customer work, you'll help build the function itself — turning what works into repeatable playbooks, templates, and processes, and helping align how 3rdRisk operates as it integrates with Diligent. You'll have real ownership from day one and a direct hand in shaping how the team works as it grows. It's a role for someone who genuinely enjoys the customer relationship, likes creating structure where there isn't any yet, and wants to grow their Customer Success career somewhere their work has visible impact. What you'll do Own customer onboarding end to end — from kickoff through configuration to go-live — so every new customer reaches value quickly and confidently. Build and continuously improve the onboarding experience, capturing what works in playbooks, templates, and documentation the whole team can use. Run the ongoing relationship with your customers: proactive check-ins, Quarterly Business Reviews, and the day-to-day partnership that drives adoption, satisfaction, and retention. Be the trusted point of contact your customers rely on, and step in on more complex situations — coordinating with product, support, and engineering to get to a resolution. Help build 3rdRisk's Customer Success function: shaping process, tooling, and
