About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic is working to build a rigorous, evidence-based understanding of AI's economic effects. We're hiring a writer focused on economics and policy to work on a growing portfolio that includes economic research reports, long-form essays, op-eds, and policy briefs. You'll spend much of your time working with economists and researchers, helping them explain their findings plainly. You’ll write for economists, policymakers, journalists, and the public. You’ll be on the Editorial team, which is responsible for shaping how Anthropic communicates. Our goal is to build understanding about the opportunities and challenges of transformative AI, and we work extensively with partner teams including The Anthropic Institute and our Policy team. In this role, you'll write about AI's effects on productivity and the labor market, the economics of compute, innovation policy, and regulation, among many other subjects, and you'll help decide which economic and policy questions Anthropic takes up next. You'll do this with an amazing vantage point on what is happening at the frontier. Key responsibilities Work with our economists and researchers t

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Data Center Security Engineering (DCSE) secures Anthropic's data center footprint; this role covers how the sites are designed and built to be secure. Much of that footprint is designed and built with partners, so a site's security is decided early: in what Anthropic hands the people who build it, and in how rigorously the delivered systems are tested against it. You'll design and specify the physical security systems for a site: perimeter and vehicle barriers, intrusion detection, video, security lighting, and the site penetrations and utility entry points that bypass them. Design firms and integrators produce the site drawings and install; you specify, review, and verify. You'll write the performance requirement and verification method behind each control, review every site design against them at each stage with redlines a design team can act on, test in the field that what was built performs as specified, and re-verify post-acceptance changes. This is a foundational role. You'll own Anthropic's physical security reference design package (typical details, reference drawings, schedules, and test procedures) in the form partners

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic's Data Center Operations (DCO) team ensures compute fleet availability through hardware and IT operations. At our partner-operated sites, this role manages the interface between Anthropic and the strategic site operations partner performing day-to-day data hall work. As the site lead, you own site outcomes for your assigned sites including: deployment velocity, availability, and incident response. Rather than managing operations staff directly, you provide tactical direction, set priorities, and define the standards for the vendor's on-site teams, paired with performance oversight and ongoing operational assessment to ensure all operational commitments are met. You will define the operational processes, quality gates, and governance rhythms for partner-operated sites. Expect to build the playbook as much as you run it, not just at a site level, but defining and developing program improvements fleet-wide. What you’ll own Operational outcomes. Own site availability, deployment milestones, and repair turnaround, verified with independent data rather than vendor self-reporting. Vendor direction. Set daily and weekly

About the role Anthropic is building data center campuses at a pace where several are under construction at once, each moving through design, construction, commissioning, and turnover to an operating partner. Security scope on those projects (the physical protections, the systems that enforce them, and the operational readiness of the company that will run the site) has to be delivered as deliberately as the buildings themselves. As Lead for Data Center Security Delivery, you will own security through that entire arc for every campus under construction: from groundbreaking, through construction-phase security, through commissioning and milestone acceptance, to a clean handover into full operation. You are the single point of accountability for "the site's security is actually ready", and you will verify that the operating partner has its people, processes, systems, and contractual security obligations genuinely in place before a site goes live. This is a delivery role, not a watch-the-dashboard role. You'll absorb the day-to-day noise of active construction sites (schedule slips, design changes, vendor coordination, escalations) so the rest of

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic's Safeguards team is seeking a Red Team Engineer to help ensure the safety of our deployed AI systems and products. In this role, you'll take an adversarial approach to uncover vulnerabilities across our product ecosystem before they can be exploited by malicious actors. Your work will span from technical infrastructure vulnerabilities on our products to emergent risks from advanced AI capabilities. While you'll bring best practices from traditional security approaches, the focus is on broader safety implications and novel abuse unique to advanced AI systems and associated products. You'll investigate the full spectrum of potential abuse — from coordinated account manipulation and payment fraud to novel exploitation of product features — and simulate sophisticated threat actors who chain multiple attack vectors to achieve their objectives. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive adversarial testing across Anthropic's product surfaces, developing creative attack scenarios that combine multiple exploitation techniques Research and implement novel testing approaches for emerging capabilities, including agent systems, to
