Qualification
Proven senior finance leadership experience, ideally at CFO or equivalent level within a complex, multi-entity or international business operating in Japan, Korea, or Southeast Asia, with deep knowledge of local financial, tax, and statutory regulatory requirements. Experience across the full breadth of finance functions — accounting, treasury, banking, tax, FP&A, and internal controls — with a strong track record of ensuring compliance in a localised market context. Fluency in Japanese and English is essential given the localised nature of the role; Korean language capability is a valued additional asset. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into clear business recommendations and act as a credible strategic partner to senior operational leadership. Demonstrated experience managing and developing finance teams, with a leadership style that builds trust, capability, and high performance across culturally diverse environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively at all levels across local markets and global headquarters.
