Job description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Sonographer to join our imaging team in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, supporting accurate diagnosis and patient care across multiple clinical areas. You will work closely with radiologists, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services while delivering a compassionate patient experience. Key Responsibilities Perform general ultrasound examinations, including: Abdominal imaging Gynaecological and early pregnancy scans Small parts imaging (e.g., thyroid, testes, soft tissue) Musculoskeletal scans (where competent) Obstetric imaging (if applicable) Accurately document and report findings to the clinical team, highlighting any urgent results.
