Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting daily operations, maintenance, and organization of the Tissue lab to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality workflow execution. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES  Perform daily lab cleaning and decontamination to maintain a safe, compliant environment  Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment and instruments  Support sequencing workflows by preparing consumables, labeling, and assisting with run setup  Manage inventory, restocking, and Kanban systems to ensure lab readiness  Prepare cleaning solutions (e.g. ethanol, bleach) per SOPs  Maintain accurate equipment calibration and maintenance records  Handle waste disposal in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines  Support biobanking and general lab operations as needed  Maintain organization of lab materials and supplies  Coordinate equipment reserv
