$500 Sign-On Bonus for Certified Guards & Instructors!!!! Title: Lifeguard I & II Position Type: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Schedule: Various shifts available - Morning, Early Afternoons, Evening and Weekends Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, this position is responsible for guarding the pool, ensuring the safety of all patrons, enforcing pool rules, and implementing the branch emergency protocols as needed. *Must have active Lifeguard Certifications. (ex. YMCA, Red Cross) ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: Prevent emergencies by scanning the pool in a continuous and consistent manner. Recognize emergencies or potential incidents and address them immediately Know and activate the branch and pool EAP when needed.
