About the Role As an Automation Engineer at Atomic, you’ll build the systems that connect our physical factory to our software platform. You’ll work across sensors, electronics, industrial controls, robotics, machine interfaces, data infrastructure, and simulation to make our equipment observable, programmable, and increasingly autonomous. This is not a traditional plant controls role focused on maintaining an installed base of PLCs. You’ll help define the architecture, standards, and tools through which Atomic’s machines, molds, robots, and production workflows operate as one integrated system. This role is ideal for a software-capable automation generalist who enjoys building real hardware, commissioning it on the factory floor, and owning systems from first prototype through reliable production use. ABOUT THE ROLE The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting daily factory operations by ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, and distributed. This position is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility, helping maintain inventory accuracy, and supporting production teams with timely material delivery. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to contribute directly to operational efficiency and product quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality Accurately record and store materials in designated locations Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production lines Pack and prepare outbound shipments in accordance with company standards Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages Fulfill internal requests for surplus or replacement parts Maintain organization and cleanliness of stockroom and warehouse areas Utilize RF scanners and internal systems to track inventory movement Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalen

WHAT YOU’LL DO Watch Assembly Assemble Shinola watch heads across multiple models, including mechanical and quartz movements , following detailed production procedures. Handle and assemble small, delicate components with a high degree of accuracy and care. Use specialized tools and instruments to complete assembly steps according to standard operating procedures. Quality & Precision Maintain a high standard of quality and craftsmanship in all assembly work. Make quick and accurate troubleshooting decisions when components or assemblies require adjustment.
