ITI Fitter Job Description: 1. Twin Screw Pump – Maintenance & Overhauling Carry out breakdown and preventive maintenance of Twin Screw Pumps as per schedule Perform mechanical seal replacement and ensure leak-free pump operation Execute screw shaft overhauling including dismantling, inspection, and reassembly Carry out de-choking of pumps and restore to normal operation with minimum downtime Perform coupling alignment using dial gauge / laser alignment tools Arrest all leakages in Twin Screw Pump systems promptly and effectively 2. Routine Checks & Condition Monitoring Conduct daily safety checks, piping inspection, and leakage detection on all pump systems Perform lubrication of pump bearings and rotating components as per lubrication schedule Carry out rotation checks to ensure correct direction and smooth operation Monitor and record vibration and noise levels to detect early signs of equipment deterioration Maintain equipment health records and report abnormalities to Team Leader immediately 3. Valves, Filters & Strainers – Maintenance & Troubleshooting Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of: Pressure Relief Valves (PRV) – inspection, setting, and replacement Mechanical
