Job description
Role Overview: We are looking for a Junior Chemist – Pharma to support the R&D and process development team in executing synthetic chemistry experiments, process optimization, and scale-up of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of organic chemistry and hands-on experience in multi-step synthesis. Key Responsibilities: Conduct laboratory-scale synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs under supervision. Maintain accurate experimental records, observations, and results in lab notebooks. Assist in process optimization and reaction parameter studies. Support analytical teams in sample preparation and analysis (HPLC, GC, NMR, etc.). Follow safety protocols, maintain lab hygiene, and handle chemicals responsibly.
