As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, you will work within a cross-functional pod embedded directly with business units across BETA to understand complex operational challenges, design and build software solutions, and stay with each engagement until the solution is working and adopted.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 8+ years of professional software engineering experience Proficiency in modern full-stack development (e.g., React/TypeScript and Python or Node.js) Experience with agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) Experience with REST APIs, databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Demonstrated systems thinking: ability to see how solutions fit into broader operational and technical contexts Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt rapidly to changing requirements Above and Beyond
