Job description
About the role Jade is Chime’s AI financial partner, helping members better understand and manage their money. We’re looking for a software engineer who enjoys building reliable systems, solving practical problems, and learning new technologies. You’ll work on the services, APIs, and integrations behind Jade, helping our members interact with AI as part of their Chime experience. Our backend primarily uses Python, and we welcome engineers with strong experience in other languages who are interested in learning it. You’ll build capabilities for our members and help improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our new AI-powered product. We value strong engineering fundamentals, thoughtful problem-solving, and curiosity. Prior experience or specialization in AI or machine learning is preferred, but not required.
