The Structural Engineer will help optimize the designs to meet performance requirements, minimize weight and maximize robustness. Documenting the analyses, validating the boundary conditions and results by developing test plans and analyzing test data and correlating to the predictions is a key responsibility for this position. Qualification
Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical structure analysis: static structure, bolted joints, fatigue, rotordynamics, modal. Experience in FEA (ANSYS workbench preferred) Methodical, rigorous and efficient Ability to guide design team to optimize structure Ability to understand structure and loads, static and dynamic Good team, communication and leadership skills required. Ability to work with minimal supervision and identify strategies to remove roadblocks is paramount. Mental flexibility and the ability to change direction based on new information is an absolute must in our fast paced environment Catia 3DX or equivalent Experience with tolerancing requirements Ability to work hard to meet our ambitious goals and tight deadlines Above and Beyond
