Job description
Title: Swim Aid Position Type: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Schedule: Various shifts available - Morning, Early Afternoons, Evening and Weekends Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, this position is responsible for assisting certified YSL Aquatic Instructors during lessons. This position will work only under the supervision of a YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: Assist aquatics instructors during swim classes. Be prepared for class. Have all equipment available and ready prior to swim class. Assist in putting away all equipment after swim classes. Maintain a professional image and manner consistent with the YMCA mission and goals at all times. Ensure a clean and safe pool environment at all times.
