Systems Engineer III - MSAD

Qualification

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field from an accredited college/university. 4–7 years of experience in modeling, simulation, control systems, or estimation algorithm development in the aerospace or defense industries. Strong background in dynamic system modeling, control system design, and simulation infrastructure. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or equivalent modeling and control toolchains. Understanding of classical control techniques and competency in verification and validation of models and their use within system architectures. Demonstrated ability to apply physics-based modeling and multi-domain simulation development, including propulsion system modeling and data analysis for model validation. Ability to generate SysML diagrams covering product structure, behavior, technical logic, engineering processes, and test execution. S. citizenship is required due to government program requirements, and must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance. Preferred
