ABOUT THE ROLE OpenCounter is Accela’s pre-application front door, helping residents and business owners understand permit requirements, costs, and next steps before they apply. Because its value depends on resident use, adoption has to be activated—not assumed. If staff do not use it and residents cannot find it, agencies are less likely to realize the value and renewal will be challenged. The Product Adoption Manager owns the post-implementation window where adoption is critical. You carry each agency through its first six to nine months: train staff broadly, confirm guides are published where residents start, and return on a cadence until adoption holds. You will work the customer base in three groups, each with a different purpose, and serve as Product’s direct view into how agency staff use OpenCounter day to day. What you learn about where users get stuck feeds the roadmap. This position reports to the Director of Product, OpenCounter. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Adoption Own adoption across the full OpenCounter customer lifecycle so agencies launch well, keep staff engaged, stay current as the product evolves, and see enough ongoing value to renew. Launch new agencies with the training, placement, and early follow-up needed for adoption to take hold. Re-engage recently launched agencies to deepen staff use, close training gaps, and prepare for renewal. Monitor mature accounts for renewal risk, usage signals, and opportunities to reinforce product value. Pre-release product review Review new features and changes before they reach production, from the perspective of the agency staff and residents who will meet them. Flag what will confuse users, create support load, or be hard to train, and distinguish a defect from a design concern when you raise it. Confirm that new capability is explainable to an agency audience, and identify

Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy. About This Role We're hiring the first Bookkeepers on our Financial Management team — a founding, hands-on role at the intersection of real client bookkeeping and 0-to-1 product building. You won't be joining an established practice with a mature playbook; you'll be writing it. You'll do the actual books for our earliest restaurant customers while working shoulder-to-shoulder with product and engineering to shape the service, tooling, and workflows that will define how Toast delivers bookkeeping at scale. This role is for someone who genuinely likes restaurant bookkeeping — the prime cost, the tip reporting, the multi-location chaos — and who also gets energy from questioning industry norms and building something new rather than maintaining something established. Ambiguity here isn't a bug; for the first year or two, it's the job. If you're the kind of person who reads a messy set of restaurant books and sees an interesting puzzle — and who'd rather build the recipe than follow one — we'd love to hear from you. A day in the life (Responsibilities) Own end-to-end bookkeeping for a portfolio of pilot restaurant customers: chart of accounts setup, monthly close, bank/POS reconciliations, accruals, and delivery of clean financial statements. Serve as Toast's in-house expert on restaurant-specific accounting — prime cost, COGS, labor and tip reporting, multi-unit consolidation, high-volume daily transaction reconciliation, and multi-jurisdiction sales tax. Embed directly with product and engineering, translating real client workflows and pain points into product requirements that shape our roadmap — you'll be in the room when we decide what to build next, not just told what shipped. Design and document the SOPs, controls, and QA processes a bookkeeping function needs to run r
Great products grow when people experience their value firsthand. We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to design and scale programs that turn in-person engagement into enterprise pipeline. You will manage a full range of third-party sponsorships and Perplexity-led field events that drive awareness, deepen relationships with senior buyers, and accelerate opportunities. You will join a small field marketing team as an equal partner, working together to divide the portfolio based on company priorities, capacity, geography, and each person's strengths. This is a hands-on role for someone who can set the strategy and execute every detail. You will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Growth, Partnerships, and Customer Success to identify the right audiences, build programs around their needs, and turn each event into measurable business impact. The ideal candidate is a field marketing generalist who is equally comfortable evaluating a sponsorship, building a regional plan, hosting an executive dinner, working a conference floor, and analyzing pipeline conversion afterward. You may bring deeper experience in sponsored events or owned programs, but you should be ready to operate across both. Responsibilities Co-own the field marketing strategy. Work as an equal partner on a two-person field marketing team to build the portfolio around company priorities, target accounts, sales territories, product launches, and pipeline goals. Divide and conquer across programs while maintaining shared standards, visibility, and accountability. Turn field engagement into pipeline. Design every program around a clear audience, business objective, conversion path, and follow-up plan, from pre-event outreach through opportunity creation and deal acceleration. Own third-party event sponsorships. Evaluate conferences and sponsorship opportunities, recommend where Perplexity should invest, negotiate and activate packages, coordinate speakers and on-site presence, and build the pre
