You will partner closely with Tax Engineering, Tax Advisory & Planning (TAP), Tax Product, and other stakeholders — gathering business and tax requirements, translating them into tax-system functional requirements for configuration, testing and cutover, and reviewing Technical Design Documents (TDDs) to provide functional tax expertise back to Tax Engineering. The primary focus of this position is end-to-end delivery of tax features, new-vertical / new-merchant or partnership / new-product launches, and legislative changes on the DoorDash platform, grounded in US sales and use tax, Canada GST/HST/PST, and Australia and New Zealand GST, across food and beverage and retail tax context, with an understanding of how data flows from upstream systems through the tax engine to downstream reporting. Rather than handing off requirements to the Vertex Center of Excellence team, you will apply your own Vertex knowl
