Role Summary Scale builds AI applications for organizations where reliability, security, and measurable results matter. Our core platform, SGP, gives teams the capabilities to build, deploy, evaluate, and operate those applications in customer environments. We're looking for a product leader to own the strategy and roadmap for SGP's core platform and lead the PM team responsible for it. Make clear what is available, where it works, and what remains to be delivered. Build and lead a strong PM team. About Scale AI Scale AI accelerates the development and deployment of AI, from the high-quality training data and evaluation services that power the world's leading AI labs, to full-stack AI applications built for Enterprise, U.S. Public Sector, and Global Public Sector customers. We don't just hand over a model; we find the highest-value use case, build the system around it, and own the outcome, whether that's an agent supporting mission planning for the Department of Defense, a sovereign AI platform for a government ministry, or an agentic workflow inside a Fortune 500 enterprise. Our platform powers breakthroughs at the frontier of AI, and great design is how we make that power accessible, intuitive, and trusted by the teams who rely on it every day. The Role We're looking for a product design leader to lead and grow our enterprise team. What You'll Do Set the direction for Enterprise design. Define what exceptional design looks like for Scale's Applications customers making high-stakes decisions and for the expert contributors powering the platform. Translate the broader design vision into a clear, motivating direction for your team. Build and lead the team. Own hiring, development, and day-to-day leadership for a growing team of designers. Scale AI is at the forefront of the AI revolution, helping the U.S. government unlock the potential of AI across national security missions. We’re building and deploying agentic AI solutions on large, complex government programs that increasingly require Scale technology to integrate with capabilities delivered by traditional defense primes and other subcontractors. We’re hiring a subcontracts manager to own the day-to-day relationships, execution, and integration of subcontractors supporting our Public Sector programs. You will work alongside Scale’s Delivery team and technical leads to ensure our subcontractors understand where their work fits into the broader technical solution, deliver against committed timelines and requirements, and remain fully integrated into our overall program execution. This role requires unusual range: you should be equally comfortable reviewing an integrated master schedule and discussing technical dependencies as you are resolving an invoice, onboarding a new subcontractor, or flowing down security requirements. You will need technical fluency to understand what Scale is building and how subcontractor capabilities fit into the solution, while using strong program management and influence to hold external partners accountable for results. You will: Own day-to-day relationships with subcontractors supporting large Public Sector programs, including major defense primes and specialized technical partners Understand Scale’s overall technical solution and ensure each subcontractor clearly understands how its scope, interfaces, and deliverables fit into that solution Translate prime contract milestones and program requirements into clear subcontractor deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and acceptance criteria Integrate subcontractor activities into the broader Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and proactively identify dependencies, risks, and potential schedule impacts Hold subcontractors accountable for committed scop

Scale AI’s customer-facing engineering organization is one of the fastest-growing and most technically demanding in enterprise AI. Frontier Agentic Engineers sit at the center of our most strategic relationships; building, integrating, and troubleshooting directly with customers. Until now, there has been no dedicated enablement function to support them. As Program Manager, Technical Enablement, you will build that function from the ground up. Your job is to make sure every engineer who joins this team ramps quickly and confidently, has access to an authoritative, maintained knowledge base they can actually trust, and stays sharp as Scale’s platform and product surface evolves. You will own the full enablement lifecycle for customer-facing engineering, from day one onboarding through ongoing development, and you will be measured on ramp speed, knowledge base health, and the sustained readiness of the teams you support. This role sits within the Enablement org and partners closely with FAE leadership, the broader Enablement team, and cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Delivery. You will: Build and Own Engineering Onboarding Design and launch a structured, role-based onboarding program for new FAE hires, taking engineers from environment setup through meaningful technical contribution within their first 30 days. Define fully ramped success criteria by role and communicate them clearly to new hires and their managers. Own and Govern the Engineering Knowledge Base Audit, consolidate, and maintain the authoritative technical knowledge base for customer-facing engineering, eliminating fragmentation, broken link chains, and stale documentation. Establish a review cadence to keep content current as the platform evolves; tag owners and set expiration dates for key docs. Join the team shaping the future of AI at Scale. Scale builds RL environments: sandboxed replicas of the digital spheres where real knowledge work occurs and built from the operating data of the companies that actually hold it. As the Data Acquisition Lead , you will own the commercial motion that gets us that data end to end. You will figure out which companies sit on the data for the next domain worth owning and then go and get it. This is a zero-to-one function with no playbook. You should be prepared to wear many hats, from thesis-driven dealmaker to hands-on operator to technical translator between commercial and Research teams. You will: Map the supply side. Work backwards from where labs are pushing to the specific organizations holding the underlying data. Build a thesis on which domains are worth owning and in what order. Invent the deal structures. You'll work with Scale’s legal team to define the first version of how these transactions get priced. Close. Own it from cold outreach to signature. Close the loop with the technical side. You need to hold a real conversation about what makes a dataset trainable and become an expert in what makes this underlying data valuable. Build the machine. Do the work by hand first, then turn what you learn into a repeatable pipeline. Ideally, you’d have: 5+ years across some mix of business development, corp dev, commercial strategy, or early-stage GTM. The label matters less than a track record of building a commercial motion that didn't exist before you got there A strong track record of managing important external relationships Strong business judgment and the ability to evaluate partnership value quickly Clear communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders Ability to operate independently while staying closely connected to cross-functional teams A practical, hands-on approach to building new functions from the ground up Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments Experience in

Scale is hiring a Staff Product Designer to lead product design for Scale's Public Sector business unit. Public Sector brings AI-powered decision support directly to government and national security customers. You'll design sophisticated tools for critical operations including crisis planning, geo spatial- visualization, and human-agent collaborative canvases. Much of this work has no established playbook. The conventions for how humans and agents plan, review, and decide together are still being written, and this role will help write them. You'll push past existing patterns to establish new ones, then make them durable enough for the rest of the platform to build on. This is a role for a designer who enjoys untangling dense workflows and making powerful systems feel coherent, intuitive, and trustworthy at speed. What you’ll do Own the end-to-end design, from undefined requirements through wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes. Develop state-of-the-art techniques to leverage AI in design systems and processes. Design for complex, data-dense workflows: dashboards, mapping interfaces, alerting systems, and analytical reporting tools. Partner directly with Product and Engineering peers to turn ambiguity into clear product directions, work through tradeoffs and launch experiences. Work directly in code alongside engineers, going beyond static mockups to help build and refine the shipped experience. Work with customers, building direct relationships during key project touchpoints (discovery, feedback, post-launch) and confidently socializing design decisions with stakeholders. Contribute design assets and interaction patterns back to the broader platform. Who you are 10–15 years of experience across a range of design settings and problem types. You're energized by complexity. You take dense, tangled systems and turn them into something elegant and easy to use, and you're at your best when the problem is hard. You bring clarity to ambiguity.
