We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to integrate and improve our AI developer experience so that engineers at Asana can use AI to increase their velocity. As part of the AI Developer Productivity team, you’ll set technical direction and build the next generation of AI-powered developer tools across editors, IDEs, CLIs, code review, and cloud and local coding agents. This role is based in our New York City office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements. What you’ll achieve Design and build AI-augmented workflows and systems that help coding agents understand the codebase, follow engineering practices, and enable Asana engineers to complete software development tasks faster and with more confidence. Design and scale autonomous cloud agents that take on complex, multi-step engineering tasks to reduce toil and enable engineers to focus on higher-leverage work. Build and refine IDE, editor, and CLI integrations that make AI-assisted development feel intuitive in engineers' daily work. Create reusable agent skills, tools, context, and integrations that teams across Asana can build on rather than reinvent. Improve AI-assisted code review workflows so engineers get faster, higher-quality feedback before and during review. Drive adoption of AI developer tools across engineering through usability improvements, measurement, documentation, and enablement. Set technical direction for the team, balancing experimentation with reliability, maintainability, and long-term platform thinking. Partner cross-functionally with teams across the engineering organization to understand engineering needs, identify workflow friction, and scale high-impact solutions

About the Team OpenAI's Research Data Team exists to accelerate the evaluation, safety and capabilities of our models and products. Made up of technical operators and software engineers, we design the methods in which we acquire and create data. About the Role As a Research Program Manager (RPM), Data Acquisition, you will partner with research, engineering, and operations to design and implement pragmatic solutions for acquiring data. You will be a key interface between our research roadmap and external data offerings. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ and will be part of a team of RPMs pushing the frontier of data acquisition. In this role, you will: Partner deeply with research: Work with researchers to scope data needs, define success criteria, and translate priorities into clear execution plans. Shape the data acquisition pipeline: Identify, evaluate, and advance high impact data opportunities - balancing research value, feasibility, quality, and responsible execution. Unblock yourself: Move work forward even when the path is unclear — using technical judgement, creative problem solving, and scrappy execution to make progress while longer-term solutions are still forming. Build lightweight systems and visibility: Use SQL, Python, dashboards, and simple tooling to track performance, quality, and blockers. Drive technical roadmaps: Collaborate with engineers to enhance data platforms, resolve blockers, and ensure security best practices such as access management. Scale your impact: Equip vendors and internal teams with the context, standards, and operating rhythms needed to focus on the most important problems. You’ll thrive in this role if you: Are proficient in SQL and Python for analysing datasets, querying databases, building dashboards, and generating actionable insights. Are comfortable using APIs, automation, and AI tools such as Codex to accelerate workflows, remove manual overhead, and upskill quickly in unfamiliar technical areas.Experience sou
About us Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia. We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do. Our co-founders are Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor . Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace. What you’ll do Agent Architecture: What primitives do we need to build agents that are steerable and verifiable, but also conversational and empathetic? How do we future-proof this as LLMs evolve? Retrieval: How do we ground answers in a customer’s knowledge base? How do we use retrieved context conversationally, handling cases where the answer is unclear or needs clarification from the user? Evals: How do we measure an agent’s quality? How do empower our customers to improve agent quality? Voice: How do we make our chat agents “just work” over the phone? How do we deliver lifelike conversations at low latency? Simulation & Benchmarking: How can we craft a simulation platform to test AI agents against every real-world scenario imaginable? (See 𝜏-Bench

Solution Architect Sigma Computing The SA role has evolved. Here’s the version we’re hiring for. The SA job in 2026 is not the SA job in 2023. Three things now sit at the center of how we evaluate this role. This hire has to do all three at a senior level, with the architectural depth to back it up. 1. Use AI every day to do the job better. If you are not using Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalents to accelerate your account prep, architecture diagramming, prototype builds, RFP responses, and discovery synthesis, you are getting outworked by SAs who are. We expect this hire to treat AI tooling as default infrastructure, not novelty. Come with a point of view on what you run, why, and how you use it to compress weeks of work into days. 2. Sell AI into the account. Buyers want to talk about agents, MCP, A2A, context engineering, and which model is powering what. You have to be fluent. You know Sigma’s AI surface cold: Sigma Assistant in build, analyze, and plan modes, AI functions, input tables with LLM enrichment, MCP integration, and warehouse-native agent patterns. You can architect Sigma agents and warehouse agents into a customer’s stack and explain the tradeoffs to a head of data and a CISO in the same call. You also speak credibly about Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and the broader stack the customer already runs. 3. Sell against AI. Every enterprise deal has AI competition in it. Sometimes it is Databricks Genie. Sometimes it is Snowflake Cortex Analyst. Sometimes it is a systems integrator pitching a bespoke agent built over the weekend. You know where each of these breaks at scale, where Sigma’s warehouse-native architecture wins on governance, freshness, and cost, and how to draw the line for a skeptical CDO without hand-waving. You can defend that position in an architecture review, on a security questionnaire, and across three follow-up calls. About Sigma Sigma is the AI runtime environment for the modern enterprise. Teams build apps, agents, an
