Baseten

ABOUT BASETEN Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $1.5B Series F , led by Altimeter Capital, Conviction Partners, and Spark Capital. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Container runtimes were designed for general-purpose software workloads. AI inference is not a general-purpose workload. Running large models at production scale exposes cracks in every layer of the container stack: runtimes unaware of GPU memory constraints, images that take minutes to pull when a model needs to scale to thousands of replicas, and isolation mechanisms that weren't designed for the multi-tenant serving environments that production AI requires. The tools the industry has relied on for a decade weren't built for this, and patching around those limitations at higher layers only goes so far. Baseten owns the entire pipeline, from the moment a developer pushes a model to the moment a request gets a response. That vertical ownership means we can fix these problems at the root. The Runtime Fabrics team is doing exactly that: purpose-building the container runtime and storage layers for AI inference workloads, led by some of the world's top containerd maintainers. As Engineering Manager of the Runtime Fabrics team, you will lead this work, setting technical direction, growing a world-class team of systems engineers, and ensuring the team's output shapes not just Baseten's infrastructure but the open-source container ecosystem at large. If you've contributed to containerd, runc, or related OCI projects and are ready to lead a team solving some of the hardest problems in infrastructure today, we'd love

Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to ship AI products. THE ROLE At Baseten, we are building the global operating system for distributed, heterogeneous AI hardware. We believe that as LLM and multi-modal workloads scale, the network is the computer. We are looking for foundational engineers to lead our GPU Networking efforts, making RDMA a first-class building block in our infrastructure and unlocking the next generation of distributed inference optimizations. Networking and compute are no longer separate disciplines; they are converging. The massive throughput of H100, B200, and NVL72 architectures enables and demands a new approach where communication is co-optimized alongside computation. We are entering an era where the network is an active accelerator, leveraging smart hardware offloads and direct interconnects to ensure that data movement operates at wire-speed. In this role, you will go beyond network configuration to architect the software fabric that unifies thousands of GPUs into a cohesive operating system. While you will leverage the best of the open-source ecosystem, you won't be limited by it. Where off-the-shelf solutions stop, you will build from scratch, engineering the primitives required to co-optimize communication and compute for Disaggregated Serving, Wide Expert Parallelism (WideEP), and lightening cold starts. RESPONSIBILITIES Make RDMA First-Class: You will work on integrating RDMA/RoCE/InfiniBand capabilities directly into our inference stack, helpin

Sapience AI Corporation
📍 Seattle• $180K – $190K/yr
1mo ago

Sapience AI is the collective intelligence platform for professional communities. We sit above the CRMs, AMS platforms, and knowledge bases that organizations already run, and we turn the expertise scattered across them into something every member can search, act on, and share. The intelligence a community needs is already inside it. Most organizations just cannot reach it. Knowledge lives in silos, in legacy systems, in the heads of a few experts, and in fragmented records no one can connect. We change that. Our work is grounded in four commitments: technology elevates people and never replaces them, the best expertise is already inside the community, everything is built on trust, and every deployment is purpose-driven for the organization it serves. Let’s achieve more, together. Where this role sits This role owns a product area end to end. Where the product marketer is the market lens, you are the person accountable for what we build, how it works, and whether it ships and succeeds. You lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and applied AI specialists to turn strategy into a product members rely on. You own the roadmap for your area, the decisions inside it, and the outcomes it produces. You work at the center of the product organization, translating a clear point of view into shipped work that moves MINERVA and the COGENT architecture forward through each GR/GA milestone. Why this role exists In an AI market where capabilities can be copied in weeks, the advantage goes to teams that decide well and ship fast. Someone has to hold the point of view, make the calls, and keep a team building the right thing. Collective intelligence is hard product work: reasoning over messy knowledge, earning member trust, and fitting into how communities already operate. It needs an owner who can hold both the ambition and the details. The Senior Product Manager is that owner. You set direction for your area, make the hard prioritization calls, and are accountable fo

About the Team The legal industry team works with law firms, in-house legal departments, legal technology companies, and other members of the legal ecosystem to understand how AI can support serious professional work. The team collaborates across Product, Research, Engineering, Design, Go-to-Market, Partnerships, Safety, Security, and Legal. We believe the strongest progress in legal will be built with the ecosystem. Our goal is to help customers and partners use OpenAI's capabilities in ways that are useful, trustworthy, and complementary to the products, expertise, and relationships that already serve the field. About the Role As a Product Manager you will help lead OpenAI's work with the legal industry. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who can turn incomplete information into clear priorities and shipped work. We’re looking for people who will spend time with customers and partners, work closely with researchers, engineers, designers, and operators, and keep complex work moving across teams. You will have meaningful ownership, but your success will depend as much on collaboration, follow-through, and judgment as on strategy. Success will depend on detailed, behind-the-scenes work in a fast-moving environment that can sometimes be chaotic. The right person will work very hard, get their hands dirty, and stay calm when the path is unclear. The work is also important and substantive: you will help shape how powerful technology is used in a consequential profession. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Turn customer, partner, market, and model evidence into a clear product strategy and roadmap for OpenAI’s work with the legal industry—including what to build, what not to build, and where ecosystem partners should lead. Define requirements and take products from early concept through real-world use and iteration.
