About the Team The Tax Technology Automations & Innovation team — known internally as the AI Team — builds the automations, Generative AI, and internal tooling that let DoorDash's global Tax function scale as the business grows across the US, Canada, and — through Wolt and Deliveroo — internationally. We turn manual, repetitive tax work into reliable, governed software, and we bring modern AI into the heart of how a tax function operates — responsibly, and with auditability built in. The team is organised into an AI Strategy function and three regional pillars: EMEA, US & Canada, and Coffee & Special Projects. This role sits in the AI Strategy function and reports to the Tax Technology lead. You will set the technical and AI direction the three regional pillars build around, and partner across Tax, Tax Tech, Data Operations, Accounting, Product, and Engineering, as well as InfoSec, Internal Audit, and Compliance. About the Role DoorDash is looking for a senior-level AI and data expert to lead how the Tax department operates through automation, Generative AI, and intelligent data tooling. Beyond building high-impact automation, you will set the strategy for how LLMs, GenAI, and machine learning are integrated into critical tax workflows at scale, and act as the AI authority for the function. This is the role that makes the entire team AI-native rather than merely AI-assisted. By owning the AI and automation governance framework, you will also ensure that everything the team builds on top of sensitive tax data stays controlled, defensible, and audit-ready. You don't just build — you set the bar, mentor the regional teams, and decide how we adopt a fast-moving technology responsibly. You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Define and lead the GenAI strategy for the Tax function, identifying high-value use cases and setting adoption standards. Architect and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions — intelligent assistants, AI-driven classificatio

For over 20 years, Smartsheet has empowered teams to manage work seamlessly and scale solutions smarter. Now, in our most ambitious chapter yet, we are uniting human teams with AI agents. By orchestrating the work agents do best, automating manual tasks and uncovering insights at scale, we create the space for people to focus on what truly matters: judgment, creativity, and big thinking. That is magic at work, and it’s what we show up for every day. Smartsheet is building the AI connectivity layer that lets enterprise teams work through the AI assistants they already use - Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is at the centre of that strategy, and this role owns its adoption and growth. With 7,500+ organisations connected across five AI platforms and an Anthropic case study validating Smartsheet's position, MCP is one of the most strategically significant product areas in the company. This is an individual contributor role for a senior product leader who owns product strategy through an adoption lens, and who lives with customers and power users to bridge field signals with engineering direction. The core personas are the people pushing AI hardest - CLI power users, agent builders, and the teams wiring tools and agents into their daily work. You are their voice inside Smartsheet, and Smartsheet's voice to them. This person operates as the product peer to the engineering lead for MCP, planning and launching together day to day. As the platform matures and this role builds the track record to take on more, we expect the scope to grow, potentially into leading industry-vertical specialisation (for example Pharma, Fintech, Construction) as those needs emerge. You will work remotely from the UK and report to the Director, Product Management. You Will: Own the MCP adoption strategy and shape roadmap priorities based on usage and persona evidence, in partnership with the Director of Engineering who owns the technical roadmap. Own the activ
