About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role As of May 2026, Claude authored more than 80% of the code we merge . In September 2026, we merged more than 30,000 changes per day . Writing a change is fast now, and the hard part is knowing what is correct and safe to ship. We work like a small product team whose customers are other Anthropic engineers.
