About Prodigal Prodigal is the connected AI platform leading financial institutions use to run their operations. We work with banks, lenders, credit unions, and other financial companies that lend money to people and manage those relationships over time. These institutions make millions of high-stakes decisions every day. Who should they reach? When should they reach them? What should they say or offer? When should a case move to a human? How should that change based on the borrower, the account, previous interactions, and the regulations involved? Getting those decisions right requires a deep understanding of the people, processes, rules, and edge cases behind them. Prodigal has spent the last eight years building that understanding. More than a billion interactions between financial institutions and their customers have shaped the intelligence, guardrails, and AI agents we now run in production across North America. Today, our AI agents analyze conversations, capture context, guide human agents, decide the next action, conduct customer conversations, orchestrate outreach, and help people complete payments and resolutions. They are connected, so what is learned in one interaction can inform what happens next. We are expanding this swarm of AI agents across more of the work financial institutions do: originations, document processing, back-office workflows, servicing, and other critical operations where money, identity, people, and regulation intersect. We are backed by Y Combinator, Accel, and Menlo Ventures, and work with 100+ financial institutions across North America. Location: Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina (primary) or Belgrade, Serbia What You’ll Do: As a Senior Security Engineer, you will own the security architecture and enforcement across our infrastructure. Our infrastructure relies heavily on a Linux ecosystem, and as we scale our cloud footprint and AI initiatives, this layer is becoming increasingly security-sensitive. You will be embedded directly with the teams operating these systems, bridging the gap between high engineering velocity and secure-by-design architecture. Your core mandate is to protect production, harden our Linux environments, establish AI guardrails, and build secure access patterns without creating process overhead. This role will report to the Sr Director, Infrastructure and Networking and will be a hybrid role based out of Banja Luka, Bosnia. Linux Hardening & Threat Detection: Secure our underlying Linux infrastructure and container runtimes. Deploy, tune, and manage our SIEM for continuous threat detection, file integrity monitoring, and host-based intrusion detection (HIDS) across our fleet. Identity & Access Control: Design and enforce secure access patterns. Ruthlessly eliminate shared accounts, long-lived credentials, and overly broad permissions across the organization. Cloud & Infrastructure Governance: Own the security posture across our cloud environments. Implement secure infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform an
About the Role We're looking for a Software Engineer to build the systems that treat infrastructure as software. This role owns the software state machines that provision hardware, bring it into service, and manage its full lifecycle — turning racks of GPUs into running inference clusters without a human touching a runbook. The Research and Inference team is your customer: today they file tickets and wait; the target state is that they issue a single API call to stand up, scale, or tear down a cluster, and the system takes care of the rest. The platform is manifest-driven such that teams declare the desired state of a cluster or host — shape, topology, software stack — and the system is responsible for reconciling reality to that manifest, continuously, through every stage of its lifecycle. You will design the engines that manifest the schema, the engines that execute against it, and the workflows that carry a piece of hardware or a cluster from one state to the next—taking it from bare metal to a fully functioning AI cluster for training or inference. You'll write production code which is typed, tested, versioned, and deployed through CI/CD that models infrastructure state and reconciles it, the same way a Kubernetes controller reconciles a cluster's desired state. Success looks like eliminating manual provisioning work, not documenting it better. A product mindset - you've built internal platforms or APIs consumed by other engineering teams and care about the developer experience of what you ship. You build it, you own it. You are not only responsible for delivering the software but also for operating and supporting it in production. Responsibilities Build the provisioning state machine: design and implement the software that models the full lifecycle of a physical host from discovery, inference bring-up to GPU driver/CUDA stack, health validation, and decommission/RMA — as explicit, versioned states and transitions. Build the self-service API: design declarative
Toradex is a global company strongly focused on engineering & technology. We’re powered by a diverse & uniquely gifted workforce. We pursue the best people to propel our innovative vision of embedded computing and IoT. If you’re interested in being a driving force at an agile technology company, engineering clever computing solutions & helping other companies bring their products to life, we should talk. Overview As a Product Security Analyst at Toradex, you’ll be responsible for the implementation, validation, and maintenance of security features in Toradex’s embedded software stack. That means hands-on, low-level work with bootloaders, Linux kernel security features, secure software updates and more. We aim to make embedded software development easy and approachable, which means that our engineers have to go beyond just feature enablement. Your work will involve making the developer experience of working with low-level security features as smooth as it possibly can be. You’ll work on systems used in critical industries like healthcare, industrial automation, and robotics. Responsibilities Security feature enablement Bring up security features on new hardware. Every new product we release, we strive to have a uniform, straightforward experience for enabling basic hardware security features like secure boot, ARM TrustZone/ OP-TEE , and hardware-backed encryption. System-level hardening Toradex maintains Torizon OS, a secure, production-ready embedded Linux OS. Making sure that security features fit into the whole stack, and that configurations are secure-by-default for the most common and supported workflows is a key part of the job. Understanding how everything fits together is a must. Vulnerability management Monitor upstream CVEs, assess their impact on Toradex products and their likely impact on Toradex customers' products. Apply patches and mitigations. Help draft security advisories and write VEX documents. Work on and maintain internal tooling for
