You'll regularly interact with building management, security personnel, and client representatives to coordinate pickups, maintain chain of custody, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. When you're not on the road, you'll support warehouse and facilities operations by receiving and processing incoming hardware, preparing equipment for future pickups, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This is an in-person position based in Fresno, California. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm. About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role We're looking for experienced engineers to build Anthropic's cache layer as a managed service from the ground up. The Caching team is part of the Databases organization and owns the systems that keep Anthropic's hottest paths fast and correct: a managed Redis fleet, client libraries used across the company, and CDC-driven cache invalidation that solves one of distributed systems' hardest problems the right way. This is a foundational role on a small team with outsized leverage. Every millisecond you take off a hot path is multiplied across every Claude request. You'll set the technical direction for caching at Anthropic, from the data plane to the developer experience, and you'll work closely with product and research teams to make caching something engineers get for free rather than something they have to think about. Key responsibilities Drive the technical direction for caching infrastructure used across Product and Research Design, build, and operate a managed Redis fleet that scales to support millions of users across Claude's product ecosystem Build client libraries and developer-facing abstractions that make correct caching the default for Anthropic engineers Design and operate CDC-driven cache invalidation that keeps cached data consistent with source-of-truth databases Architect caching solutions that operate across GCP, AWS, first-party deployments, and other environments Optimize latency, hit rates, reliability, and cost efficiency on Anthropic's hottest paths Build observability and tooling that makes cache behavior easy to understand and debug Partner with product and research teams to understand access pat
About the Team Codex is OpenAI's software engineering agent. Codex Security extends that work into one of the most important product areas in AI: helping organizations find, validate, prioritize, and fix real vulnerabilities in the software they build and depend on. The Codex Cyber team is building the product and platform foundations for AI-native application security. This includes Codex Security product experiences, cloud-based security analysis, platform controls across Codex, customer deployment and support tooling, and infrastructure that helps security researchers and cyber models improve over time. The team is early, small, and growing quickly, with a mandate to move fast and hire exceptional builders. About the Role We are looking for software engineers first: strong full-stack or product-minded generalists who can own ambiguous product and platform problems end to end. Security experience is helpful, and security curiosity is important, but this is not a role for security specialists who only occasionally write code. The right person is an excellent builder who is excited to work in security and can turn complex research, product, and customer needs into reliable systems. You will work across user-facing product surfaces, developer workflows, backend services, security analysis pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and internal tooling. You may build features that make Codex Security more useful for application security teams, systems that scale cloud-based security analysis, platform controls that make agentic coding safer, or infrastructure that helps security researchers and models become more effective. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, security research, infrastructure, and customer-facing partners as Codex Cyber becomes a major product and platform investment for OpenAI. In this role, you will: Build end-to-end product features for Codex Security, from developer-facing interfaces to APIs, backend services, and workflow tooling. Own a

About Us: AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Ramp , Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We've passed $1B in annualized run rate, up 15x from a year ago. In October 2026 we raised a $750M Series D led by Accel at a $15.75B valuation. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn , Luigi ), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience. The Role: Most of the value of owning a model shows up at serving time. We're building a platform that covers the whole life of an LLM -- train it, deploy it, observe it -- and inference is where teams feel the difference every day. We already run elastic inference, sandboxes, distributed volumes, and multi-node training, and we control the infrastructure underneath, so the serving stack is ours to shape rather than something we resell. You will do hands-on inference research at Modal, working with the research lead to pick high-impact bets and owning them end to end. The bets that matter most are the ones that move cost per token and tail latency on the workloads our customers actually run. What You'll Do: Own end-to-end inference research bets: speculative decoding, disaggregated prefill/decode, quantization (FP8, INT4), KV-cache and memory management, autoscaling for spiky serverless traffic, and whateve
