The Role: As Staff Software Engineer on the Web Platform team, reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will own the platform layer that the rest of the team builds on: web framework, design system, CMS, infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, AI-enabled translation, and SDLC agents. This is a rare opportunity to design a web platform for an AI-native world from the ground up. The north star architecture is being defined now and you will be a primary author of it. You will partner with technical leaders across web and marketing engineering, and set the standard for what AI-native platform engineering looks like in practice. The impact you’ll have : Define the technical roadmap for the web platform: component systems, rendering architecture, CMS, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling, built AI-native from the start. Influence technical leaders across the organization on shared architectural decisions and contribute to the broader north star for AI-native engineering at Databricks. Pioneer an AI-native SDLC by applying agentic unlocks across code generation, testing, review, deployment, and production monitoring. Define the evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and feedback loops that make agentic workflows reliable and production-grade. Mentor and grow engineers on the team, setting the standard for what AI-native thinking and execution looks like in practice. What we look for: 12+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong track record of technical leadership and impact. 3+ years of engineering leadership experience, serving as the technical owner for the software systems owned by your team. About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic exists to ensure the world safely navigates the transition through transformative AI. That work is funded by commercial revenue — and every dollar of it runs through Billing Platform. We build and operate the infrastructure that turns product usage into revenue across everything Anthropic ships: Claude.ai , the Developer Platform, Claude Code, and whatever comes next. The faster we can price it, charge for it, and account for it correctly, the faster Anthropic can fund the mission. We’re looking for a software engineer to join Billing. Depending on where you land, you might be building the integration contracts product teams plug into so they can launch a paid SKU without becoming billing experts, automating the quote-to-cash lifecycle so enterprise deals don’t bottleneck on manual ops, or building the reconciliation and data foundations that keep every revenue number trustworthy at audit time. This is production-critical infrastructure where correctness is non-negotiable — a rounding error here is a revenue discrepancy somewhere else — and you’ll work closely with Finance, Product, Sales, and Accounting to build systems that scale with the business. What you’ll do Design and ship billing capabilities end to end — pricing primitives, payment flows, contract and entitlement models, revenue data pipelines — depending on the surface area you own. Build for correctness first. Billing data is financial data; you’ll develop the instincts for where idempotency, reconciliation, and audit trails matter and where they don’t. Own the interfaces. Whether it’s the billing API a product team integrates against or the revenu
MongoDB is looking for an outstanding person to join our newly created Forward Deployed Engineering team and take on a key role in our extended R&D organization. Forward Deployed Engineering is linking the work of teams engaged on application modernization roles with our Product and Engineering teams. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin for our hybrid working model. Many organizations have built up large estates of legacy applications. Lack of scalability and resilience, long development times, operating cost, and inability to run on cloud are common issues with these applications. To address these issues, organizations are engaging in large transformational Application Modernisation programs. MongoDB is recognized as the developer data platform of choice for transactional systems that provide the best scalability, resiliency and developer experience in the cloud as well as on premises. Organizations are continuously migrating workloads from these legacy applications to new platforms, often based on microservices, using MongoDB. Such transformations are time intensive and often risky. Tooling based on generative AI promises to accelerate these transformations in a way never seen before. Forward Deployed Engineering is responsible for exploring the possibilities of Generative AI technologies and providing invaluable feedback to MongoDB’s R&D teams to drive future capabilities of MongoDB and the MongoDB ecosystem. Application Modernization Engineers will work alongside project teams that are executing Application Modernisation projects with customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluation, build, and applying tools in modernization projects, facilitating the usage of such tools and processes across the different project teams, identifying opportunities for tooling deployment, selecting potential 3rd party tools, contributing to the development of tooling prototypes and helping to shape the produ
