About Us: AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Lovable , Ramp , Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We recently raised a $355M Series C at a $4.65B valuation, led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures. We've crossed $300M+ ARR and grown fivefold since September. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn , Luig i ), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders About the Role We're hiring the first Account Managers at Modal. You'll report to the Regional Director of Account Management and be a founding member of the team. This function does not exist yet. There is no playbook, no territory map, no established motion. You'll own a book of business from day one and build the motion at the same time — from fast-moving AI startups to large enterprise teams running critical infrastructure on Modal. This is a commercial role with a revenue target. You'll be measured on retention and expansion across your accounts. While you won't be delivering the technical recommendations and implementation, the work is technical by nature. Our customers are engineers running GPU workloads, inference, and batch jobs in production, and you need to hold your own in those conversations. The profile we're hiring is a technical account manager. You've worked at companies that are deepl

In this role, you’d have an opportunity to build this system from the ground up. You’d be a key contributor, working on a problem few teams have had to solve at this scale. In this role, you will: Design, build, and operate the distributed storage system that feeds model training and evaluation. Run this system multiple on Kubernetes clusters at petabyte scale. Work with researchers and training-infra teams on how jobs actually read and write data, and turn that into throughput, latency, and durability requirements Work through the networking, I/O, and consistency problems of moving large datasets and checkpoints across regions and backends, with GPU idle time and time-to-insight as the measures of success You may be a good fit if you have: Strong storage fundamentals,

About the Team OpenAI didn’t begin as a traditional company. It began as an idea: that artificial intelligence could be developed in a way that benefits everyone. As a creative team, our role is to help make sure the work behind that idea is understood as it leaves the lab and meets the world. This company works at the frontier of intelligence. Like any frontier, it’s unfinished, constantly shifting, and still being explored. Our job is to stay close to that uncertainty and help shape how this story gets told in a way that feels grounded and human. We do this through campaigns, launches, films, brand systems, and work that doesn’t fit neatly into any of those categories yet. This team is for people who want to help shape something from the beginning. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Creative Director, Copy to join our growing in-house creative team focused on OpenAI’s business audiences. In this role, you’ll help define how we communicate the value of OpenAI to organizations - from growing businesses and startups to global enterprises and developers building with our technology. You’ll concept and write across integrated campaigns, product launches, customer stories, events, and other brand moments. You’ll translate complex products, technical capabilities, and business outcomes into clear, compelling ideas that resonate with decision-makers, builders, and teams adopting AI. This is a deeply hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable developing a big campaign platform, shaping a messaging framework, writing a film script, or refining a headline. You’ll work closely with design, production, product marketing, and communications from the earliest stages of an idea through execution. To us, creativity is a team sport. Ideas get better when you talk them through and build on each other’s thinking. We value curiosity over certainty, kindness over ego, and the ability to balance creative ambition with clarity and decisiveness. This role is based i

A useful lens; this role sees us scale through systems and leverage, not human effort. This is a hands-on building role. You will redesign processes, build the workflows that execute them across Rippling, Slack, Notion and the rest of our stack, and own offboarding and our employee support model outright. As a Principal AI Applied Engineer, you will define the technical strategy, architectural standards, and long-term vision for AI-enabled products across the organization. You will influence enterprise-wide decisions regarding AI platforms, model strategies, engineering standards, and technology investments while remaining deeply hands-on in prototyping, experimentation, architecture, and software development. This is the highest-level individual contributor role within the AI Applied Engineering organization. Success requires exceptional technical depth, organizational influence, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate emerging AI capabilities into scalable, reliable, and responsible production systems. Why Join Us Shape the long-term AI architecture and engineering direction for a large enterprise healthcare organization. Influence how AI-enabled products are designed, built, evaluated, deployed, and governed across multiple teams. Drive strategic decisions involving models, vendors, platforms, infrastructure, and shared capabilities. Prototype and validate emerging technologies before the organization invests at scale.</
