This will be a defining role on the brand design team. You'll shape the motion language for Baseten and bring it to life across everything from product launches and social video to huge out-of-home campaigns, events, web, and experimental brand work. We're building a brand in a market that's moving fast, and we want the work to feel just as ambitious. This isn't a role focused on turning out one-off animations or supporting an existing system - you'll help define and build the system, push it into places we haven’t thought about, and set the bar for motion across the company. You'll partner closely with brand, product, marketing, and leadership to turn technical ideas into work that's clear, distinctive, and memorable. RESPONSIBILITIES Define and evolve the motion language for the Baseten brand. Create high-craft motion work across product launches, social, campaigns, web, events, and out-of-home. THE ROLE We're hiring a Sales Development Manager to lead the team of SDRs generating pipeline for our North American sales org. You'll own the day-to-day leadership of the team — coaching reps, aligning with AEs and sales leadership, holding a high bar on execution, hiring, and building the systems that make the team consistently productive. Our market is new and evolves by the day, and our buyers are hyper-technical. Prospecting at Baseten means earning credibility with that audience, and coaching a team to do it at scale. The right person for this role is a coach and a builder — someone who gets energy from developing people, is obsessive about execution, and wants to define what world-class pipeline generation looks like when the product, the buyers, and the sales motion are all AI-native. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs responsible for opening doors with the next wave of Baseten customers. Own the team's pipeline generation targets and drive consistent execution against weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals. Build and refine outbound strategies, messaging, and frameworks across a wide range of accounts, tuned to a technical audience. Run 1:1s, team meetings, training, and pipeline reviews that make reps measurably better week over week. Partner with AEs and sales managers on account strategy, lead quality, and handoff processes. About the Team The Health team, within OpenAI’s broader Personal AGI organization, has a mission to ensure AGI improves health for all humanity. Improving human health will be one of the defining impacts of AGI. Hundreds of millions of people already turn to ChatGPT for questions about their health and millions of clinicians use it weekly to support care delivery. Increasingly capable models create an opportunity to make high-quality medical intelligence more accessible across patients and clinicians—raising the floor of human health—and accelerate the new capabilities and scientific advances that raise the ceiling of human health. Our job is to make those benefits real. We work across the full model stack—pretraining, midtraining, reinforcement learning, post-training, evaluations, harnessing, and deployment—and connect that research to the patients, clinicians, and real-world outcomes we aim to improve. About the Role We’re looking for an exceptional, hands-on researcher who wants to build frontier health capabilities and turn them into impact at scale. This is a role for someone who can take an important, underdefined problem from 0→1: identify the right bet, build what’s needed to test it, and drive it all the way to a measurable improvement in the models and products we actually ship. We’re especially excited about two kinds of people: researchers with the technical depth to move the frontier in pretraining, reinforcement learning (RL) / post-training, or evals; and researchers with real depth in developing frontier biomedical AI capabilities. Prior experience in healthcare is helpful but not required. Research excellence, velocity, ownership, and alignment with the mission are most important to us. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Own a high-leverage research direction end to end—from deciding which problem matters and h

THE ROLE: Baseten is looking for a Workplace Coordinator to help run our San Francisco office and create an exceptional experience for everyone who works in or visits the space. You will work alongside our Office Manager and be at the center of the day-to-day operations of our largest and fastest-growing office. Over 200 employees are based in San Francisco today, and we expect that population to more than double over the next year. We are also expanding from one space into two additional nearby buildings, creating a campus-like footprint that regularly hosts visiting employees, candidates, customers, investors, and events. A major focus of this role is making our increasingly complex space work well. You will manage high demand for conference rooms and phone booths, anticipate competing needs, and make thoughtful tradeoffs based on team and business priorities. Like a great EA managing an executive’s calendar, you will constantly look ahead, spot conflicts, and adjust the puzzle. You’ll be part of a growing, highly collaborative team that works together to raise the bar for how we support Baseten. The team shares context, jumps in to support one another, and continuously looks for ways to improve how we operate. As Baseten grows, you’ll have opportunities to take on new challenges and expand your scope. This is an in-person role in San Francisco, expected to be in-office five days per week.
