Development Engineer – Job Description Position: Development Engineer Department: Development Reports To: Development Manager / Production Head Key Responsibilities • Support new product development and trial planning. • Coordinate with customer, quality and production departments for new parts. • Study customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements. • Prepare trial plans, process flow, and control plans. • Monitor trial production and collect trial data. • Analyze defects and suggest process improvements. • Prepare PPAP documents and development records. • Support pattern, core box and tooling development. • Maintain development activity reports. Quality & Safety • Ensure new product trials meet customer quality standards. • Follow safety procedures during trials and development activities. • Support internal audits and safety training.
