The Role We are seeking a Manager, Applied Field Engineering - AI/ML Product Specialists to lead a high-performing team of Applied Field Engineers within the Applied Field Engineering organization. In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage a team of Applied Field Engineers who specialize in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics. You will be responsible for coaching your team through technical sales engagements, driving execution excellence, and ensuring customers successfully activate and consume Snowflake's AI/ML capabilities. About the team The Applied AI Engineer, Digital Natives team is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications for developers and enterprises. We act as a trusted advisor and thought partner for our customers, working to build an effective backlog of frontier AI use cases for their industry and drive them to production through strong technical guidance. As an Applied AI Engineer in the Digital Native segment, you’ll help large and highly sophisticated companies transform their business through custom AI solutions applications such as customer service, automated content generation, contextual search, personalization, and other novel use cases leveraging OpenAI’s newest, most exciting models and latest capabilities. About the role We are looking for a driven solutions leader with a product mindset to partner with our customers and ensure they achieve tangible business value with frontier AI. You will pair with senior customer leaders to establish AI strategic roadmaps and identify the highest value applications. You’ll then partner with their engineering and product teams to move from prototype through production. You’ll take a holistic view of their needs and design an enterprise architecture using OpenAI APIs and other services to maximize customer value. About the team OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering team partners with customers to turn research breakthroughs into production systems. We operate at the intersection of customer delivery and core platform development. About the Role We are looking for customer-focused software engineers to build effective custom software that leverages OpenAI’s APIs to solve real customer problems. As an FDSWE, you will work with our customers and OpenAI Forward Deployed Engineers to design and implement scalable solutions that solve their most difficult problems. You will design abstractions to solve customer problems, and then use them to scale our speed and quality of delivery across all Forward Deployed engagements. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success Managers who work on the same account. You will also work with our Research and Applied Product and Engineering teams to provide insightful customer feedback. This role is based in NYC. THE ROLE We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who can own and harden the systems layer of Baseten's Marketing engine. Marketing at Baseten is scaling fast — more spend, more campaigns, more model launches, more inbound. The systems underneath (Our ESP, CRMs, forms, tracking, routing, alerting) need an owner who treats them like production infrastructure that cannot go down. When something breaks, it costs us time, pipeline, and trust in the data. This role exists so it doesn't break. You’ll simultaneously build for the future and re-think assumptions about our tech stack in the age of agents. This is an offensive play that gives the rest of the team leverage and superpowers to hit our ambitious goals. This is NOT an IT or service role. This is a core member of the marketing team who implements technology to achieve outcomes. RESPONSIBILTIES Own the marketing tech stack end-to-end: ad platforms, email systems, tracking, pixels, forms, connectors. Build defense-in-depth on inbound: spam/bot protection, rate limiting, email/domain validation, sync gating — and the alerting to catch anomalies before they hit sales or leadership dashboards. Enforce data integrity: UTM governance, campaign membership, lifecycle stages, lead scoring and routing logic, field-level hygiene, canonical metric definitions. Operationalize the web request pipeline with our dev agency: structured briefs, tickets, SLAs, and launch-day runb
