Zoox
📍 Foster City• Full-time• Hybrid• $213K – $295K/yr

The Program Management Office (PMO) at Zoox is responsible for driving cross-functional program planning and execution at the highest level. We partner with leaders from across the company in vehicle development, system design, software engineering, manufacturing, fleet operations, and business functions to develop and deliver major corporate milestones on the path to launch, and beyond. Our program managers contribute to the end-to-end success of technical, integrated product milestones involving both of our vehicle platforms - the Toyota Highlander test fleet and Zoox's purpose-built robotaxi. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Core Autonomy Capabilities in PMO, you will own the portfolio of programs launching fundamental new autonomy and safety capabilities: fail-operational architectures, the next generation of the perception and motion planning stack, learned scene understanding and behavior models, collision avoidance, and the guidance and routing capabilities that expand where the vehicle can drive. These are new capabilities rather than refinements of shipped ones, and they sit on the critical path to launch. This is a high-leverage, high-visibility portfolio role. Rather than a single subsystem, you will own several capability programs running concurrently, partnering with the TPMs who drive them and driving programs directly where no dedicated owner exists. The engineering, validation, and safety teams behind this work sit across several organizations outside your reporting line, so building credibility quickly and driving decisions without formal authority is core to the job. In this role, you will: Own the outcome for each capability. Drive programs from architecture through the release that ships them, and define what "done" means when completion criteria are still being established. Partner with the TPMs who own individual capabilities. Set a consistent bar for how their programs are planned and reported, and unblock what the

Who We Are Nuro believes self-driving vehicles are the most immediate and profound opportunity for AI to drive positive change in the physical world. Safer streets, more time for what matters, and easier access to the world around us, that’s why we’re building a universal autonomy platform: self-driving for all roads and all rides. Founded in 2016, Nuro is a physical AI company developing Level 4 autonomous driving technology for a wide range of vehicles, use cases, and markets. Powered by the Nuro Driver™, our universal autonomy platform enables the global mobility ecosystem to deploy autonomy at scale, from robotaxis and logistics fleets to personal vehicles. With years of real-world deployment experience and a flexible, partner-led business model, Nuro is working toward a future where millions of autonomous vehicles powered by our technology help make everyday life safer, easier, and more connected. Nuro has raised over $2B in capital from Uber, NVIDIA, Google, Softbank, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and other leading investors. About the Role We’re looking for a technically strong, hands-on Manager of Technical Program Management to lead the TPM team supporting Nuro’s AI Platform organization. AI Platform builds the offboard and onboard system that accelerate autonomy development and enable reliable deployment. Its work spans the data flywheel for developing AI systems—from data collection and data mining through training, simulation, and evaluation—as well as onboard firmware, middleware and services, cloud services, and fleet operations tooling. You will develop a team of TPMs and drive complex programs across engineering, product, operations, and external partners. This role combines people leadership with direct ownership of critical programs: understanding the underlying technical problems, shaping clear plans, resolving dependencies, and driving decisions through implementation. Success means faster development, more reliable systems, and readiness to dep

About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the Role Claude is used across government, from US federal civilian agencies to national security, state and local, and allied international governments, and nearly every model and product Anthropic ships has public sector work on the end of it. Each of those segments runs under its own regulatory and deployment constraints, so delivering Claude to them means standing up compliant infrastructure with cloud partners, landing new models in restricted environments, bringing our application suite to parity with commercial, and clearing frameworks like FedRAMP, repeated for every segment. We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to own that program. Today that coordination is spread across the public sector product and engineering leads and the many teams they pull in: research, infrastructure, security, compliance, and product engineering. You'll become the single owner of that program, the person who knows where every workstream stands, what it is waiting on, and who needs to decide. Over time, government customers get new models and products on a predictable cadence, authorizations like FedRAMP run as a steady program rather than a one-off push, and each new segment takes less bespoke effort than the last. Responsibilities Own the program for delivering new Claude models into public sector environments: sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs across research, inference and capacity, cloud partners, safeguards, and compliance teams Drive FedRAMP and similar authorization programs for Anthropic's public sector offerings, working with privacy, security, compliance, and platform engineering Plan and sequence work across public sector

OpenAI

About the Team OpenAI's data and storage infrastructure spans data platforms, online databases, and file/object storage. These systems underpin data ingestion and processing, durable persistence, indexing and retrieval, and product file experiences. As frontier models and agents evolve how they use memory, history and snapshots, the underlying architecture increasingly shapes the capabilities products can deliver—and their latency, reliability, cost and efficiency. About the Role We are looking for a technically deep TPM to independently define and lead multiple programs across data platforms, online databases and storage infrastructure. You will connect model, product and data-consumer requirements to architecture, and work with the relevant engineering teams to take new capabilities through production adoption and repeatable expansion. The design scope is exabyte-scale storage and infrastructure spanning multiple millions of CPU cores. The challenge is not simply forecasting more resources: it is making complete, workload-ready capacity repeatable, with a clear path from product requirements through architecture, deployment and validation. A data pipeline, database query, file operation or execution snapshot can affect whether a product or agent succeeds; you will connect those outcomes to the systems underneath. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Translate model, product and data-platform needs into precise access patterns, consistency, durability, freshness, availability and scalability requirements. Connect memory, history, retrieval and resumable work to capability and end-to-end latency. Partner with engineering to transform data and storage architecture into repeatable scale units: standardized provisioning, placement, routing, data movement and readiness checks that bring storage, compute and networking online together.

About the Role Anthropic's enterprise business is growing fast, and enterprises are adopting Claude across product surfaces. Before they can deploy at scale, they need the same foundations everywhere: security and compliance controls, identity and access management, data governance, admin controls, and cost and spend management. This work is especially critical for customers in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, public sector), whose security, privacy, and resilience requirements set the bar for everyone else. We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to partner with the teams that own these enterprise foundations, own the planning and execution rhythm that gets each capability onto every surface, and contribute to a coherent leadership view of coverage, gaps, and progress across products. This is a senior role: product, engineering, and GTM leaders will look to you for where we stand on enterprise readiness and for the plan to close the gaps. Responsibilities Run the planning and operating cadence for the foundational-capability roadmap across surfaces: clear DRIs, sequenced dependencies, and a single source of truth on coverage and status for product, engineering, and GTM leadership Drive the highest-priority foundational capability programs end to end, from scoping and tradeoff decisions through delivery on every surface Shape the readiness bar for new products and features: what a surface must have in place before it reaches enterprise customers, and the call on in-flight features that are missing controls Work across teams and directly with customers: partner with sales, customer success, solutions, and sup
