About the role Anthropic’s Applied AI team helps the world’s largest organizations put Claude to work. As a Cybersecurity Specialist on Applied AI, you’ll be part of an overlay team of domain experts who sit alongside our enterprise account teams and bring deep security expertise to the accounts where it matters most. You won’t own an account. You’ll be the security expert the account team pulls in to win and grow the most important security conversations: helping CISOs and security leaders see where Claude can take on real security work, then guiding them from early pilots to durable, production workloads. You’ll cover a portfolio of enterprise accounts across regulated industries like financial services, insurance, and healthcare, strategic accounts like semiconductors (IP protection, industrial control systems, export controls), and digital natives and public sector agencies, each with its own threat model. How this team works You partner with account executives, account architects, and generalist Applied AI engineers, who own the customer relationship and the broader technical engagement. You bring the security depth they don’t have time to build. Join NVIDIA, a company with over 25 years of experience advancing visual technology, personal gaming platforms, and high-performance computing! We have pushed innovation through our innovative technology and talented team. As we expand into AI's vast possibilities, we need a Senior Security Engineer, Architecture Patterns to build the future of computing. In this role, you will be involved in the latest AI developments, uphold security standards, and contribute to powerful projects alongside top talent in Santa Clara, CA. Join us! What you'll be doing: Develop shift-left solutions that embed security standards directly into AI-generated code, ensuring constraints, scaffolds, rules, and guardrails are applied during the coding process rather than post-shipment. Convert written security standards into machine-enforceable formats, enabling programming assistants and pipelines to apply them seamlessly without manual interpretation. Engineer verification workflows that confirm generated code meets claimed standards, providing evidence for downstream release gating and policy enforcement. Maintain and evolve evaluation harnesses, reference repositories, known-bad cases, and encouraged findings to ensure constraint-steered agents produce conformant code amid changing models, patterns, and tooling. Convert approved architecture patterns into secure, runnable reference implementations, such as templates, Helm charts, container images, and worked examples, ensuring their reliability as platforms evolve. Elevate AI solutions from prototypes to enterprise-grade products, focusing on versioning, observability, latency and cost budgets, access control, audit, graceful failure, and a detailed support and deprecation model. NVIDIA DGX Cloud is an AI Factory designed to power the next generation of AI and industrial-scale breakthroughs. As the Distinguished Engineer for Security Architecture, within our Security Engineering organization, you will set the security design bar for an AI factory of hundreds of thousands of GPUs, and then build against it alongside the teams. This is the founding architecture seat in a new organization. Security Engineering is a new organization at DGX Cloud, accountable for the security outcome of the platform, and this is the architecture function inside it. You will define the security design standard for DGX Cloud, a bar that sits above the company floor, and hold it from inside the teams doing the building. Security here is fleet horizontal and stack vertical, so your scope runs from the hardware root of trust and the hardened baseline, through tenancy and GPU workload isolation, to the services and APIs built on top, across every DGX Cloud engineering organization. A small team of Principal Engineers will report to you and hold the bar at domain depth. This is still a hands-on seat, and you stay in the design with them. You will also serve as DGX Cloud's technical interface into NVIDIA's central security organization. There is no architecture review board here and no approval queue; the bar holds because the strongest security engineers in the room helped set it and helped ship it. What You Will Be Doing: Set the DGX Cloud Security Bar: Own the security design standard across DGX Cloud (tenancy, GPU workloads, identity, supply chain, and isolation) and make it concrete. Reference architectures, golden paths, and requirements engineers can actually build against, not a policy library. Hold the Bar by Building: Embed with engineering teams on real work: join the design, learn the code, help ship the thing rather than grade it afterward.
