About the Role The Solutions Engineering team at Metronome is a technical group that sits at the intersection of everything Metronome does: sales, account management, product, R&D, and operations. We act like a producer to get the show running with Metronome. This role will train you to grow across these vectors. Position Overview: A highly skilled UPS Field Engineer is needed to apply an in-depth knowledge of UPS start-up, testing, and operations. This role involves commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support for power electronics at customer sites. Key Responsibilities: •Conducts commissioning-focused design reviews, prepares test procedures and reports, and oversees on-site testing. •Performs preventive maintenance, emergency response, equipment start-up, and field modifications. •Coordinates with technical support to resolve maintenance or operational issues. •Assists in developing Methods of Procedures (MOPs). •Reports to a supervisor for any unusual issues or developments. •Trains periodically at company headquarters on testing equipment and rebuilding systems. •Completes Field Service Reports promptly and provides proactive recommendations to clients. •Candidate will be based from home. Qualifications: •Minimum of 3-5 years' experience.
