This position is responsible for resolving and escalating shipping exceptions, discrepancies, and questions in a timely and professional manner; supporting Velocity buyers with shipping-related questions and issues to reduce order aging and maximize the client experience; and identifying and eliminating the recurring issues that drive exception volume in the first place. HOW WE WORK — AI-NATIVE ENGINEERING At B-Stock, AI is not a side experiment — it is how we build. Our engineers work in an AI-first workflow: using agentic coding tools to design, write, review, test, and ship production software, orchestrating AI to multiply their output while keeping human judgment firmly in the loop. We are looking for engineers who already work this way, or are hungry to. In this role you will be expected to: Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as a daily, core part of how you deliver — not an occasional aid. Orchestrate one or more AI agents across parallel work-streams, and know when to trust, verify, or override what they produce. Bring strong engineering judgment to reviewing and validating AI-generated code — you own the output, the AI does not. Decompose ambiguous problems into clear specs and prompts that an AI can reliably execute against. Stay fluent in a fast-moving toolchain and help raise the bar for how the whole team works with AI. Bonus: experience building AI-powered product features — LLM integration, retrieval, evaluations, or agentic systems in production. JOB SUMMARY B-Stock is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, scale, and maintain the next generation of our marketplace platform. You’ll work with expert technical leads and engineers to build the experiences at the core of our business, partnering closely with Product, Design, and other teams to execute key initiatives — and doing it in an AI-native way. WHAT YOU'LL DO Work closely with product owners to design, implement, and deploy systems that scale our e-commerce, content, and fulfillment operations. Deliver elegant, effective software quickly, using AI to accelerate without sacrificing quality or ownership. Provide thought leadership on process, tooling, systems, and software architecture — including how we adopt and get leverage from AI. Improve and maintain existing systems, prioritizing ma

JOB SUMMARY B-Stock's marketplace growth depends on a thriving buyer ecosystem at every level. This role owns the full buyer lifecycle — from acquiring and activating new buyers to growing them into Premier Buyers ($250K+/year) — through hands-on lifecycle execution, personalized marketing programs, and cross-functional partnership. This is a builder and operator role. The person who takes this job will design and build B-Stock's buyer lifecycle architecture from the ground up — Braze canvases, segmentation frameworks, behavioral triggers, journey orchestration — and own the engagement and activation outcomes those programs drive. The personalization strategy and prioritization tradeoffs are set at the team level; this person owns making that strategy real through expert execution and continuous optimization. This is a builder role in every sense, including how you use AI: you'll design AI-powered automations and agentic workflows into the lifecycle programs you build. This is also a cross-functional role. Success depends on close partnership with Product and Data teams to get the right signals into the right programs, and on building credibility with the Buyer Account Management team to ensure high-value buyers are prioritized and well-served. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lifecycle Architecture & Hands-On Execution Design and build B-Stock's buyer lifecycle architecture in Braze — canvases, onboarding journeys, behavioral triggers, re-engagement flows, and retention programs across all buyer segments. Own segmentation strategy and execution: define buyer cohorts by behavior, transaction history, lifecycle stage, and engagement score, and build the segmentation logic that powers personalized messaging at scale. Orchestrate messaging across channels — email, in-app, push, and SMS — ensuring the right message reaches the right buyer at the right moment without creating fatigue. This person reports directly to the VP of Strategy & Business Operations. JOB SUMMARY This role owns feature adoption and platform engagement for B-Stock's buyer-facing features — ensuring buyers discover, adopt, and deepen engagement with what Product ships. Lifecycle Marketing owns buyer funnel health (acquisition, activation, retention) at a cohort level; Product Growth owns whether buyers find and use the features that make the platform stickier. You'll brief Lifecycle on feature launches; they own channel execution. This role also applies AI to how feature GTM gets built and measured — using AI-assisted analysis to speed hypothesis testing and reporting. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Driving Outcomes Own the GTM strategy and launch execution for buyer-facing features (e.g., saved search, delivery preferences, customer preferences); define adoption metrics upfront and hold yourself accountable for delivering against them. Propose a prioritized GTM plan for buyer-facing features, aligned to the broader product roadmap. Customer Understanding Develop a deep understanding of B-Stock's buyer segments — who they are, how they shop, and what drives repeat platform engagement. Build and maintain buyer personas that go beyond demographics to capture behavioral patterns and feature usage; use these to sharpen both product positioning and campaign briefs. Brief Lifecycle Marketing on feature launches with clear audience targeting rationale, key messages, and behavioral triggers, so execution through shared channels (including in-app messaging) is accurate. Analytical Rigor Generate hypotheses about buyer behavior and feature adoption; use those hypotheses to structure a logical analytical approach and identify the data needed to validate or refute them. Partner with Analytics to define shared measurement frameworks: align on definitions (e.g., what counts as 'activated' or 'engaged'), and build visibility into feature adoption metrics. Demonstrate strong quantitative and qualitative judgment in decision-making — you can

JOB SUMMARY B-Stock is a managed B2B recommerce marketplace, and its two sides couldn't be more different: enterprise sellers moving returned and excess inventory at scale, and thousands of buyers hunting for value in it. You'll own one part of that machine end to end, whether that's seller operations, buyer experience, logistics, or core platform. When the business's biggest problem moves, you may move with it. The domain changes; the bar doesn't. We're hiring for how fast you build real fluency in something you've never seen and start making sound calls before the picture is complete. Somewhere in your 4+ years of product experience is clear evidence you've done exactly that. We work AI-natively. Engineering ships fast with agentic tooling (Claude Code and similar), and the Product team operates at the same speed: AI is already part of how you research, prototype, and write, with the judgment to know what to delegate and where your own thinking stays in the loop. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own a domain of the marketplace end to end, from framing ambiguous, high-stakes problems to shipped, measured outcomes. Frame problems sharply: separate what you know from what you're assuming, commit to the highest-leverage path, and be explicit about what would prove you wrong. Write PRDs and acceptance criteria engineering can execute in one read. Own the metric, not just the launch: define the KPI, ship, and stay on it until it moves. Collaborate across the org: engineering, design, data, operations, account management, and whatever other teams the problem touches. This role cuts across departments, and you'll pull in the right people wherever the work leads. Communicate outcome first, with tradeoffs and rationale legible without a second meeting. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR The one thing we won't compromise on is range : a track record of stepping into unfamiliar domains and getting effective quickly. Everything below supports it. Decisiveness under uncertainty. You chase down the signal th
