Dscout

At Dscout, we’re building the most flexible and powerful UX research platform on the market—trusted by the world’s top brands in finance (JP Morgan Chase, Intuit, Charles Schwab, PayPal), healthcare (Aya, Headspace), consumer goods (Keen, Verizon, Target, Northface), and tech (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Meta, Spotify, AirBnB). Our tools help teams deeply understand the humans behind their products, so they can build better ones. We are expanding our smart and driven team and would love for you to join us. Our Platform: Our mobile apps are Swift and Kotlin. Our frontend is built with React. Our backend uses Elixir and increasingly more and more Python. GenAI has significantly impacted our system architecture, requiring us to adapt and evolve. We are in the midst of a shift from existing products augmented with AI to a full AI-first platform. You Are: A Mobile Principal Software Engineer who will lead our mobile team and evolve it to meet the shifting demand of a full AI-first platform — on a timeline measured in weeks, not quarters. You're deeply hands-on with AI coding agents, and you've used them to ship serious work, not just autocomplete. You're as comfortable architecting a thin mobile client backed by a powerful API as you are dropping into our Python backend (with AI assist) to add what mobile needs. You'll shape our participant experience across mobile with heavy influence on the web too. You're deeply product focused, energized by solving business problems, not just writing code. You ask "why" before "how," and you partner with Product and Design as a peer — shaping problems, not just taking specs. You know when to ship a scrappy prototype to test an assumption versus when to invest in a foundation built to last, and you can explain that call to a PM or designer. You can hold multiple projects in your head at once, spotting where they'll collide, depend on each other, or share a chance for reuse. You bring Principal/Staff-level scope as a product enginee

Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About the Role You’ll lead the Mobile AI engineering team, responsible for making Notion AI genuinely useful on phones and tablets. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. About the role (Remote) We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our global UX team. You'll own design within your product cluster — working directly with the engineers and PMs in those areas to define problems, shape solutions, and ship work that holds up. This is an end-to-end role. You lead discovery, define the interaction model, produce specs, and stay close through implementation. You're also expected to contribute to the systems and standards the whole team relies on. The Senior Product Designer will report to our Product Design Manager, and will work with our EU, UK and US based designers. You're part of a distributed team, so async clarity and proactive communication are as important as craft. What you’ll do Lead the design of complex AI-powered interactions in your product cluster, accounting for trust, transparency, fallback states, and human-in-the-loop considerations Embrace the use of modern AI-based tools like Claude, Figma Make, Cursor, Vercel, Loveable or equivalent not as theatre, but as a meaningful multiplier to your workflow. Partner with our UX research team to lead interviews, usability tests, and competitive analysis and translate findings into clear product direction and guidance Develop presentations, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design intent across web and mobile surfaces. Partner with PMs to shape requirements and with engineers to protect design intent through delivery Contribute to Showpad's design systems — adding components, documenting patterns, raising consistency across product areas Communicate design rationale through strategic storytelling: you can walk a PM, an engineer, and a senior stakeholder through the same decision and each one gets what they need Establish scalable AI-assisted workflows for your own work — research synthesis, rapid prototyping, concept generation — and help others on the team use them effectively Deliver UX solutions that measurably improve
