Lead Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) are the most senior technical leaders in the FDE organization. They own the overall technical strategy for the FDE domain, not just individual engagements, and are accountable for how the entire function operates, scales, and improves over time. They set direction across multiple concurrent engagements, teams, and quarters, and are the technical voice the organization relies on when stakes, ambiguity, or cross-functional complexity are highest. This role sits at the intersection of technical depth, organizational strategy, and people leadership, setting the technical bar for the function, shaping how Product and Engineering prioritize based on field reality, and developing the next generation of Staff-level FDEs. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in New York City for our hybrid working model. Responsibilities Own the FDE organization's overall engagement strategy, serving as the primary technical escalation point across the portfolio for the highest-risk, highest-visibility, and most ambiguous situations Act as the trusted technical counterpart to customer executives and internal VP/executive stakeholders on strategic bets, major risks, and cross-portfolio tradeoffs Set the technical architecture standards and design principles that govern how the FDE domain builds customer-facing solutions and platform capabilities, turning organization-level ambiguity into coherent multi-quarter technical strategy Stay hands-on where it matters most, writing and reviewing code and personally unblocking the hardest technical failures to keep the organization's technical bar grounded in reality Own the translation of field-wide patterns into the FDE domain's long-term technical vision, representing that vision to Product and Engineering executive leadership and defending multi-quarter roadmap tradeoffs Own the technical growth and career development of FDEs through mentorship, coaching, and calibration of the org's technical ba

Scale AI
📍 New York• $212K – $265K/yr

The role Scale builds enterprise AI systems deployed into production. As a Staff Solutions Architect, you lead technical execution on the most complex and highest-value enterprise opportunities in your vertical, and you set the technical standard the rest of the team works to. You own an assigned set of strategic accounts and remain the senior technical relationship owner across them. You are also accountable for leverage beyond your own deals: the reference architectures, evaluation methodologies, and technical processes you build are adopted by other Solutions Architects, and the patterns you surface shape Scale's product direction. You work alongside the Account Executive (commercial owner), the Project Manager (delivery owner), and the Tech Lead (engineering lead for implementation). This is an individual contributor role with mentorship responsibility, not a people-management role. What you will own Most complex opportunities. Lead technical strategy and execution on the largest and most complex deals in your vertical, measured by revenue, product scope, or data volume. Act as the final technical authority on whether Scale can deliver what is being proposed. Technical discovery and qualification at scale. Own qualification on ambiguous, multi-stakeholder opportunities where requirements are unresolved. Make and defend go/no-go and disqualification recommendations on deals with significant revenue attached. Evaluation methodology for the vertical. Define how Scale measures quality for the use-case classes in your vertical, including evaluation datasets, baselines, quality dimensions, and acceptance criteria that hold up under customer and regulatory scrutiny. Establish approaches other Solutions Architects reuse rather than rebuild. Executive technical relationships. Own long-term technical relationships with C-level and senior technical stakeholders across multiple accounts, including CTOs, Heads of AI, and engineering leadership. Convert those relations

The Data Platform group in India owns parts of the pipeline that ingests, processes, stores, and serves healthcare data at a scale very few organizations operate at. Patients, doctors, and medical researchers deserve the same engineering rigor that has transformed other industries, and that is the work: correctness under volume, reliability under failure, and speed without cutting the corners that regulated health data does not allow anyone to cut. What you will do Define architecture across ingestion, processing, storage, serving, governance, and observability for the India-owned parts of the platform, aligned with Seattle. About the role Rubrik Professional Services is hiring a Global Solutions Architect to serve as our most senior technical authority for public cloud. This is a global, individual-contributor role at Technical Director level. You will set the architectural direction for how Rubrik is designed, deployed, and operated in the world’s most demanding cloud environments — and you will carry that direction personally into our most strategic customer engagements. You will be deployed where technical risk is highest: flagship accounts, first-of-a-kind architectures, and the engagements whose outcome sets the pattern everyone else follows. Between those engagements, you will convert what you learned into the reference architectures, service offerings, and enablement that raise the capability of every architect and consultant in the field. Your impact is measured by the quality of the practice you leave behind, not the hours you personally bill. We are looking for depth in public cloud architecture first. The Field CTO is the most senior technical voice in the field. Here's the version we're hiring for. The Field CTO sits a level above the Solution Architect. Where the SA leads the technical strategy on complex deals, the Field CTO owns the technical narrative across the territory, shapes how the market understands Sigma's architecture, and carries the credibility to win the room when the CTO, CDO, and CISO are all in it. This person does everything a senior SA does, then operates a tier higher: as a peer to enterprise executives, a force multiplier across the entire Solution Engineering team, and a direct line back into Product and Engineering. Three things sit at the center of this role. The Field CTO does all three at the highest level, with the architectural depth and executive presence to back it up. 1. Use AI every day, and set the standard for how the team uses it. The Field CTO treats AI tooling as default infrastructure and raises the bar for everyone else. You run Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalents to compress account prep, architecture design, prototype builds, RFP responses, and discovery synthesis from weeks into days. You bring a clear point of view on what to run, why, and where it breaks. You don't just use these tools well. You teach the SE and SA teams how to use them better, and you build the workflows the rest of the field adopts. 2. Sell AI into the account at the executive level. Buyers want to talk about agents, MCP, A2A, context engineering, and which model powers what. You're fluent, and you can take that conversation to the most senior technical buyer in the building. You know Sigma's AI surface cold: Sigma Assistant in build, analyze, and plan modes, AI functions, input tables with LLM enrichment, MCP integration, Sigma agents, and warehouse agents. You architect these into a customer's stack, defend the tradeoffs to a head of data and a CISO in the same call, and frame the long-term AI strategy for a CTO who's deciding w
