THE ROLE Enterprise at Baseten means the companies with the most to gain from AI and the most complexity in getting there: large digital natives running products at massive scale, and category leaders in software, financial services, healthcare, and beyond. They have the data, the distribution, and the budget. Most are still deciding what to build, what to run themselves, and what it should cost. That makes this a consultative sale. You'll spend as much time helping a VP of Engineering pressure-test their AI strategy as you will selling against an alternative, mapping use cases, framing build-vs-buy, and giving clear recommendations grounded in what you've seen work at the frontier. Then you'll do the enterprise work: multithreading across a buying committee, navigating security and procurement, and turning a first workload into an eight-figure relationship. You'll work alongside our founders, forward-deployed engineers, and GTM leadership, in a seat where the playbook is still being written. RESPONSIBILITIES Own a revenue target end to end, from prospecting and outbounding through closing Tier 1 accounts in your verticals Act as a strategic advisor on AI adoption: identify use cases, shape architecture decisions, and lead with clear, opinionated recommendations Multithread across large organizations, from the engineers running evals to the executives funding the program to security, legal, and procurement Win lighthouse

Our company today has a strong engineering culture, is heavily customer-obsessed, and moves fast. We're building the product function now, and you'd be one of the people who defines it. You'll work directly with our founders and with some of the best systems and infrastructure engineers in the world, and you'll set the standard for what product looks like here. You earn trust by being technical, finding the truth in front of customers, building great cross-functional relationships, and shipping great product experiences. THE ROLE The largest, most demanding Enterprises are starting to run on Baseten and they come with a range of security, compliance, and procurement requirements. Today that readiness is assembled deal-by-deal. You'll own the enterprise-readiness surface end to end and turn it into product: the deployment options customers can choose and buy, compliance posture they can trust, access and security controls their IT teams require, and the billing and spend controls their finance teams expect. What does a complete Baseten Enterprise Product offering look like? RESPONSIBILITIES Drive the Enterprise Readiness customer experience end to end: Partner with GTM and Enterprise Engineering to make "enterprise-ready" a platform-wide capability, not a deal-by-deal scramble. Outcome: readiness becomes a supported, priced product instead of bespoke work asse

As we move into large scale, high-density NVIDIA systems, the hardest failures are intermittent, cross-layer, and difficult to prove: RoCE congestion, InfiniBand stalls, ECN/DCQCN mis-tuning, bad optics, RNIC issues, host kernel stalls, GPU driver problems, and workload symptoms that look like network problems, but are not. We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer to build a first-class observability and root-cause analysis system for GPU fabrics. This is a hard distributed systems problem, not a dashboarding problem. The system will collect high-volume signals from switches, hosts, active probes, and inference services; reduce and correlate them in real time; understand topology and service ownership; and produce actionable diagnosis while an incident is still unfolding. This role sits at the boundary between networking and inference software. RDMA data paths, GPUDirect transfers, prefill/decode disaggregation, KV cache movement, request routing, and workload backpressure can all create fabric symptoms or hide real fabric failures. The goal is to tell an operator, quickly and with evidence, whether an incident is caused by the fabric, host, NIC, GPU, RDMA path, scheduler, or serving layer — and what to do next. EXAMPLE INITIATIVES Real-time telemetry engine — Build the ingestion, reduction, storage, and query path for high-cardinality fab

ABOUT BASE LABS Base Labs is a research lab pushing the frontier of open-source LLMs. We think intelligence should be democratized, not controlled by a handful of closed labs and we think very few teams are actually positioned to do something about that. Backed by Baseten's training and inference infrastructure, we have the compute, resources, and talent to take on hard problems at the frontier and open-source what we learn along the way. Our mission is to help build a world where intelligence isn't concentrated, but spread across an ecosystem of models that anyone can build on. That mission shapes what we choose to work on, how we work on it, and who we want in the room. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis for our first cohort of Base Labs Fellows, which is expected to start in late September. Apply using this link. BASE LABS FELLOWSHIP OVERVIEW The Base Labs Fellowship is designed to give researchers exposure to what frontier research looks like in industry. We provide funding, mentorship, and full support to our fellows, with the goal of producing rigorous, published research that shapes both the open-source ecosystem and Baseten's technical roadmap. We run multiple cohorts of Fellows each year and review applications on a rolling basis. This application is for cohorts starting in Sept 2026 and beyond. This person will help define how we sell at Baseten: how managers run the business, how reps qualify and advance deals, how sales works with FDE, product, marketing, and support, and how those expectations get turned into training and day-to-day habits. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who excels at both strategy and execution. You'll shape the system, but you won't stop at slides or frameworks. You'll build the playbooks, run the training, coach to the behaviors, and help managers ensure the process is followed consistently. ABOUT THE ROLE Baseten is building the infrastructure layer for AI — and we're now building the team that will scale how we take it to market. This is a foundational hire on our GTM Strategy & Revenue Operations team, sitting at the intersection of strategic planning and field execution. You'll work directly with the CRO, Head of Revenue Operations and partner closely with Finance, field leadership, and our Central Ops team. This role requires someone who can think rigorously, build things from scratch, and operate with speed and judgment in an environment where the playbook is still being written. This is a rare opportunity to be an early GTM strategy and operations hire at one of the fastest-growing companies in AI infrastructure — and to help define how we scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO: GTM Planning, Target Setting & Market Intelligence Contribute to the annual and quarterly GTM planning process in partnership with Finance, including headcount modeling, ramp assumptions, and revenue target-setting Build and maintain coverage models aligned to 2-year growth projections, incorporating territory design, account segmentation, and capacity planning Support quota framework development, helping
